Parables of Grace,

This is my 10th book I have read of Watchman Nee, and I enjoyed it. Nee can get rather wordy and repetative at times, but at least he limits the book to approximately 100 pages. Although the general topic is the same, that of grace, the book takes you all over the Bible, but mostly New Testament. His analysis of the Prodigal Son is excellent and is a "must-read." His chapter of the "Meaning of Baptism" is especially well done. I am enlightened by his profound understanding of baptism as he clearly defeats the notion of baptism as a symbolic act. Nothing is further from the truth. Thank you, Watchman Nee. His chapter on "Confessing Sin" is also excellent. Being over age 50, I never understood the "less obvious" reasons for me to confess my sins. It is good that it is never too late to start, as I shall, and am better for it. I would buy this book in a heartbeat and make it part of my daily devotional reading.

I love to read books by Watchman Nee. There are so many books written by him. Watchman Nee does articulate his understanding for anyone that believes and wants to believe the truth of the Lord God. I have passed on his books to others and they have agreed.
