Different but good! Eoghan keep on keep'in on!, September 13, 2005
This review is from: Grace In The Wilderness (Audio CD)
Eoghan Heaslip's follow up from Mercy, is a little different musically. But all the passion and power is still right there. Songs I love on the album are #1. Let Your Name Be Glorified very powerful song musically and lyrically. Awesome! just awesome! #3 and #4 are very awesome and straight out of the Word! I love it! The title track on this album (#7) blows me away everytime. It is well written well orchestrated. Especially with how broken down and simple it starts, and totally awesome how it builds up big until the end and breaks back down again. I really admire this album because it doesn't really rush from song to song, sometimes it lingers for a little bit, I like it! Song #12 come and heal us for me is something I need and I'm sure everyone of us needs every minute of everyday God's unmerited mercy. This is one of my favorite tracks on the album along with the title song. Both are repentant types of songs which I believe we need many more of.
Overall A+
There are only 2 middle of the road songs track 2 and 5. To me they are OK, but the rest of the album is awesome! I highly recomend any of Eoghan's albums to anyone!
