Graco 3-in-1 Doll Travel Seat

My 6 year old daughter takes this car seat with her favorite doll in it every where we go. She was the envy of all of the little girls in the grocery store last weekend when she put the doll and car seat in the little carts they have at the store! Every little girl who walked by "oohed" and "ahhhed" over this thing and every single parent asked where to get it. The Travel Seat is so much like a real car seat that when my husband first saw it, he thought it was for the baby we are expecting in a few weeks. He figured they came out with a new "small" version for newborns! This is definitely a big hit toy and doesn't get put aside after a day or two. It is rarely out of sight, goes every where we go in the car, stores, grandparents, the doll even sleeps in it at night right next to the bed and first thing in the morning they are ready to go have breakfast together.

I purchased this for my 4 year old daughter partly because it matched her little sister's carseat. She loves dolls and loves to role play.
Anyway....less than 5 minutes after I gave it to her, the handle broke off of the carrier. All my daughter did was push *slightly* back on the handle and it (a piece of the plastic screw) snapped. She was so upset.
We went ahead and took that one back and bought another one. So far, 5 hours later, it is still intact. I just wanted everyone to be aware because the plastic piece (that flew off when it broke) could have injured someone or been a choking hazard for a small child.

First of all, I love how realistic this looks! It looks exactly like the real one. It can teach little kids to role play, without using a real baby seat to look realistic. But, though cute, I wish I had purchased something else The seats screws broke not long after it was purchased. The small peices pose a choking hazard for little kids. This item should be recalled.

I am 11 years old right now and still play with babydolls.I got this for Christmas and loved it.But over time my doll kept on looking bigger in it for some strange reason and it didn't look that real.I did not like the fact at all that I had to unscrooe the big scroo like things to put it down and up and sometimes they would come loos and fall off.At the end I ended up buying a new carseat that was ment for a real baby at a resale store.And if your waundering what kind of doll I had it was a "baby annabell" and I also have a "baby born" too! I would so recomend any "Zapf Creation" product I had (no) problem with thier stuff.

My two-year-old received this as a gift, and even though I've read the reviews about the bolts breaking, I haven't had any problems yet. But, I also haven't let her play with it unattended because she is under the age recommendation. I do like the appearance, because it looks just like the real Graco car seat she had as a baby, and I like how lightweight the seat is. The only thing I don't like so far is the size, my daughter's ChouChou babies are a very snug fit in the seat, and those unfortunately are the dolls she wants to use with it.

Great toy, but the plastic screw on one side broke and you cannot get replacement parts.

I am quite suprised with all the negative reviews of this toy. My daughter was 3 when we bought it and a year later it is in perfect condition.
The screws cannot be lost...unless your child is tossing them out the window or your house is a disorganized mess.
Another reviewer complained that it should be recalled because a 2 year old got stuck in it. For crying out loud..this toy is not meant for 2 year olds.
If other people's screws broke, they must have tightened them WAY TOO MUCH! Just like real infant equipment, don't over tighten....and it should be fine. Well, ours is anyway.

Great toy!

I purchased this travel seat with the stroller last summer for my daughter... I agree with the other reviewers that the toy is not safe... the screws did come off shortly after having it.. it's too late to get a new one but for the future the manufacturers need to re-evaluate there toys..... the stroller also broke and I thought it was the cutest item but wasn't too happy about it being of no use with in a year...

When I saw this for not much money I had to buy it. But I chose not to. There is a reason why it is only that price. Cute and real looking? Yes, but reliable and durable no. This brakes easily and screws pop out, so it is very possible for a small child to choke.

My daughter received this carrier as a Christmas present at the age of 4. She is able to easily turn the knobs to adjust the carrier handle. She loves to make the phrases go and carry her dolls and stuffed animals around in it.
