I try to stay positive when reviewing something, but there was not one positive thing I could come up with for this! When i opened the package, the headphones fell apart and it all went downhill from there. No matter how low I kept the volume on this junk, all I could hear was a loud buzzing and the amplified sound of movement. i will be returning this to the store tomorrow. DON'T BUY IT!!!!

I know it's only $15 but don't waste your money, no matter how curious you are. You go to the OB once a month, you hear the fetal heartbeat, be satisfied. Don't be like Tom Cruise and buy an ultrasound machine at home because you need to monitor the baby's every minute in the womb. There might be more expensive real Doppler fetal heart monitor that actually does what its supposed to but this Graco Prenatal Heart "Listener" (they don't even call it a monitor) only allows you to hear your own heartbeat (and heartburn
if you are experiencing that). It is pretty much an amplified stethoscope. I guess you could use it as a stethoscope to listen to your tot's lungs when she's sick, but again, I would probably defer to a doctor and take your tot to one instead of diagnosing anything yourself at home (unless of course you are a pediatrician!).

This product is hogwash! All you can hear is your fingers that are holding the device. The baby's heartbeat isn't strong enough to be picked up on this device until the 3rd trimester it states, though I am near the end of my pregnancy and have yet to hear my baby's heartbeat. Use the money on something more useful for the baby! This is totally not worth buying!

I borrowed this from my friend. She purchased it four years ago. I have been in a panic for two weeks because I have not been able to find the heartbeat. You can only hear your fingers on the monitor and every other noise around you. This to me is like a maximized hearing aid. I could not hear anything and ive spent hours hunting this heartbeat in my second trimester. This is a complete waste of time and money. I will be purchasing something to set my nerves straight after my two weeks worrying about my babies safety of not being able to hear anything. This was nothing more than a huge anxiety attack and a frustration I could have dealt without forever.

Do not waste your money or sacrifice your peace of mind on this garbage.

If i could have given 0 stars i would have. This product does not work!! Do not waste your money! I bought it half way through my pregnancy and all i could hear was a steady whooshing sound - not a heart beat of any sort. I have tried it a number of times since then - just now again at 35 weeks (mind you, i now know exactly where the baby's heart is located - she's head down now and can totally feel her back and head) but i still hear nothing that even remotely sounds like a heart beat - meanwhile she's kicking me while i'm trying to listen! So - bottom line is - if i can't hear anything at 35 weeks, this machine is hopeless! - 0 stars!!
