I bought 2 of these cribs in cherry in June of 2011 when we found out we were expecting our second girl in under 2 years. Our 18 month old daughter had a crib that did not convert and was showing wear so we wanted something that could covert when she was ready to move into a toddler bed and since her and her sister would be sharing a room, I wanted the cribs to match. Amazon had an amazing special on this crib for about a week so I bought 2 of them and I am so glad that I did.
My husband put both together in about an 1.5 hours with the "help" of our daughter. The color is beautiful and even tho the crib is shorter it's perfect for me being 5'3 and does well for my 5'11 husband. The crib goes to my naval and is a great height and I have no problems.
Currently the crib mattress is on it's lowest position and it goes up to the chest of my now 19 month old daughter. The crib mattress form her old crib fits perfectly into this new crib without any issues.
Great Crib so far.

UPDATE:12/8/2011
My older daughter is now 25 months and still loves her crib. It's amazing and has lasted! It covered into a toddler bed perfectly however we had to convert it back to a crib because daughter felt safer in crib. I can't say enough about this crib,it truly is an amazing.

I love this crib so much I made a mental note to come back and review it, something I don't do too often. I've had it for almost 9 months now. First, I will say that this is a cheaper crib, so there are some cosmetic issues - little depressions and such, no inserts to cover the screws, etc. - but they're not noticeable. The thing I love about this crib is its low profile. Although it is a standard size crib, it only stands about 4 inches off the ground, which means it is really easy for me to put my son in it, even when he's sleeping. I am 5'1", and have never found a crib I find so comfortable. I've used other cribs where I have to get up on my tip-toes to reach over the rail, and even then have to kind of drop him the last six inches because the crib is so high I can't reach the mattress when it's on its lowest setting. Not so here. This alone makes it worth it. I ordered the dark cherry color - it's nice enough. With the first crib we owned (one I bought intending to convert into a toddler bed and then a full size bed for my son) I realized that we had no intention of making my son keep it for years. As soon as he was old enough, we bought him a cute toddler bed. So I would say this crib is attractive enough for the two to three years my son will use it; it's not something we plan to keep after that (unless we have another). So even though it converts, that wasn't our purpose. That being said, it is attractive enough to keep for the duration, but is a somewhat plain design.

This crib is a beautiful espresso color and just the right height for my wife 9she is 4'11") to reach in. I ordered two for our twins, and it came packed well (the wood didn't have any of the "hole" problems some others have mentioned - that sounds like the manufacturer stained the wood for the other style of this crib) and was *very* easy to put together. It easily fit a standard mattress we got (Midnight Slumber) - we didn't need to order a special size.
I highly recommend this crib.

This crib is a beautiful color and is well made. I is also easy to put together. It is very low, but that's ok for a crib.

My mattress was 28 x 52 1/2. I was a bit concerned about it fitting, but it fit just fine.

It is good quality for the money.

This crib is exactly what we needed for our small bedroom. It's a full size crib but takes up minimal space. It took my husband and 10 year old son about 2 hours to put together but I'm sure it would have been a lot quicker had they read the instructions first... I haven't noticed any of the "bug bites" or odd looking grain that other reviewers were complaining about, our wood is very smooth, no imperfections at all. Note that this crib is VERY short, about the same height as our Graco Pack n Play. There's no way you could store anything or put a shelf trundle underneath. The crib is incredibly sturdy for such a small looking thing, doesn't move or wiggle at all. It doesn't look or feel cheap at all. I did have a hard time finding the exact size mattress to fit in it (even though it has a small frame it calls for a slightly larger mattress). Eventually I found the perfect fit with the Sealy Baby Firm Rest Crib Mattress.

My only complaint about the crib so far is the packing, yes, the crib was very well packed and arrived very secure and scratch free but when we opened it had a coating of dust covering the entire thing, I have no idea what this dust was (maybe some sort of preserve thing?) but it made all of our hands swell up and burn. So I'd recommend wearing gloves while unpacking and wiping it down right away.

Overall this is probably the most well made crib you're going to get at this price, which is awesome right now and the cheapest price you'll get anywhere. The only reason I removed a star was because I do wish it had even a tiny bit of room underneath to store stuff.
