Graco Direct Connect Digital Baby Monitor with 2 Parent Units

Secure Digital Technology

The advanced, secure digital technology means that you will enjoy optimal clarity, performance and privacy – you’ll hear and see your baby wherever you are around the home.

Interference Free

The Direct Connect Digital Baby monitor operates on the 900 MHz frequency, which means that you won’t have any interference from household electronics and phones. No matter if you’re using a microwave or home phone, your monitor will work with a clear signal.

Room to Roam

When baby’s napping, you have the freedom to move around the home, thanks to the 2000 foot range which allows for complete household coverage.

Good Vibe & Lights

There are times when it’s not convenient to have the volume turned up on your parent’s unit. However, thanks to the exclusive vibration, you can always feel baby’s call. Vibration alerts you of baby’s sounds.

Talk Back

Your voice is so comforting to your little one, and with the talk back feature, you can soothe and reassure your baby remotely, right from your parent unit.

Look Light

When you’re ready to check in on your little one, you won’t want to turn on bright lights in the room. With the ambient nightlight with two brightness settings, you’ll be able to see your baby and check on her slumber, without disturbing her.

Temp Check

Babies never like to be too warm or too cool, and this terrific digital baby monitor has a parent unit temperature display that tells you the temperature in baby’s room. This way, you can rest assured that your baby is resting comfortably.

Sound Lights

Sometimes it’s not convenient for you to hear baby’s sounds and noises. Sound lights to the rescue! This great feature means that the lights grow brighter as baby’s call intensifies. It’s a great way to keep up with baby, even when you can’t hear her.

Charge Up

Never get caught without power on your parent unit, thanks to the low battery alarm that alerts you that it’s time to charge up.

Key Features:
  • Ambient nightlight with 2 settings illuminates late night check-ins
  • Parent units display baby’s room temperature, assuring you he’s comfortable
  • LCD user interface puts the controls right at your fingertips

As several other reviewers have noted, this monitor loses its signal regularly and without any indication that it has lost it (aside from walking past your child's room and hearing their cries NOT come through the speaker). We bought this one as it advertised several features we thought sounded nice. These features would have been nice... had the monitor been even the least bit reliable.
In short, look at the reviews. They are too consistent to ignore. This unit must have a design flaw that causes it to lose signal regularly and without warning. Do not buy this product unless you like making returns.

My wife and I have always used a baby monitor and a separate remote temperature sensor for our first child. With the upcoming arrival of our second we decided to purchase this monitor since it included a temperature sensor built in. It also has a nightlight and two way communications features so we though it was perfect. We brought it home and tested it out. It had more static than our other monitor, I followed the directions to change the channel and none of the other channels seems to make a difference. To be certain it wasn't something in our house I tested it at my brother in-law's house and had the same problem. To top it off the range is horrendous, with only one wall separating the base with the receiver it shows good signal strength until you put the unit to your ear and it immediately loses all signal. I should also mention that the volume setting does not go as high as our other monitor. In conclusion this monitor has a lot of potential with its feature set, but has poor performance with the specific feature that is needed, clear/reliable audio monitoring! I've returned this one and managed to find our other monitor on clearance. In case anyone is wondering, our other monitor is the "Fisher-Price Private Connection Monitor with Dual Receivers".

I purchased this monitor because we needed 2 parent units and I would like to take it into the garage and yard on occasion so the 2000 foot range sounded good. Of course 2000 feet was an
exaggeration. But I expected more than 100 feet which was the max i could get out of it. The sound level is also way to low if you aren't in the same room you wont hear it. The BIGGEST problem with the monitor is that it drops out/looses the connection. I have had 2 sets of this monitor so it wasn't just the first one that was broken. The really bad thing about it is that you don't know because the display shows the little antenna saying that it has a connection. The only sign of it not being connected is that it falls silent (as apposed to the normal background static that it gives off.) But if you are doing something or sleeping you don't notice this. Basically the only way I could get the connection back is by turning off and on the base/nursery unit. Changing channels and the parent finder buttons where out of function. When it didn't do the total dropout it had little dropouts where it would be out for 5 sec. Every 5th time the out of range alarm would sound and that gets annoying at 3am.

So after having tried 2 units and both having identical faults I got a different brand. Now my kids hopefully wont have to scream at the top of there very sad lungs to get my attention threw the door again.

The summer slim and clear we got instead has been up and running for half a day and so far it works and with a volume level that you can actually hear without having the parent unit to your ear!

I bought this particular product for teh two monitors and the ability to go 2K feet, 4x the distance necessary.
It loses signal past 100 ft through a stucco wall. Concrete I could understand, not stucco. This eliminates the distance convenience.
Neither parental unit will hold a charge so they have to be constantly plugged in eliminating the mobility of the units. They also both randomly beep for no reason.
To top it all off both units, even being plugged in, within 100 feet of the home base will still loose signal. Turning off and back on fixes the problem but not while the child is screaming in terror that you're not coming when the speaker was unknowingly not receiving signal.
If I still had the box I would return this product and buy something much cheaper and more reliable. I will never purchase Graco again.

I am so glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews because I absolutely love this monitor. The temperature function is great. I get reception all over my house and in my yard. I like that I can change the volume so that if I have my noise maker on I don't have to listen to it but I can still hear if my little one cries. I like that a light comes on and changes color depending on how much noise is in the room. All in all I love this monitor and would recommend it to everyone!

If you want to actually hear your baby this monitor is NOT for you!!! What a joke! I have always trusted GRACO for great baby products but this monitor is a disaster. This monitor is UNSAFE! It stops transmitting the signal from the baby's room without any warning. The instruction manual states intermittent lapses in signal can be normal at times. WHAT???? What is the point then? This monitor was one of the most expensive monitors and had some nice bells and whistles (I atually really liked the temperature reading adn the nightlight) but it doesn't deliver sound transmission you can trust. At least 4 or 5 times a night it would beep once indicating it had lost signal. That's great when you are an exhausted parent trying to sleep! The baby monitor woke me up everytime it would beep. I would then pick it up and make sure it had reestablished a connection which it had. This went on for a few weeks. I was getting EXTREMELY tired of it. Then the straw that broke the TIRED camel's back was when both receivers lost connection without giving ANY beeps and our baby sat and cried for who knows how long! By the time we went into his room his little eyes were red, swollen and puffy. Thanks ALOT Graco!!!!!
