Great option for the $$, May 19, 2010
This review is from: Graco DuoGlider Stroller - Lowery (Baby Product)
I've owned this stroller for 2 months and am using it with my 17-month old and 4-month old children. I looked online at several options and decided on the DuoGlider because of its reviews and lower cost. So far I am very pleased with the stroller. I have the older child sitting in front and the baby is in her Graco SafeSeat and clipped in the back. The stroller is mostly easy to maneuver but could probably be a little smoother. I usually use it on the sidewalk, but occasionally push it through the grass. It is easy to fold up, but it sometimes gets hung on the front seat's canopy. A good push works to finish the job. I keep it in the back of my Toyota 4Runner, and it fits just fine. Snapping the SafeSeat in the back of the stroller is quite a bit awkward for me, and I have to put the baby in first before putting my toddler in front. Then, of course, I have to remove the toddler before removing the baby and her seat. With all of that said, you get what you pay for, and it is definitely worth the money. For anyone wanting a decent double stroller for not a lot of cash, this is a very good option.

Great stroller with a few shortcomings, March 11, 2011
This review is from: Graco DuoGlider Stroller - Lowery (Baby Product)
This is a great stroller! We bought it for our twins, who are our 5th and 6th babies. So we have "been around the block," so-to-speak, with strollers. This one handles very easily/is nimble, is comfortable for babies and parents, easy to fold and unfold, and attractive. However, there are several design modifications that would make it even better: The canopies could be larger. As they are, my babies have no protection from the sun if we walk directly into the light. Similarly, if it is a windy day, the canopies do not afford any wind blockage because they are simply too small. Further, the back seat needs intermediate positions--it's either straight up or fully reclined. I attached elastic loops to create an intermediate position. The cargo basket is also too tall which makes it nearly impossible to stow anything or remove anything when the back seat is reclined. This problem could be solved by making the rear side of the basket shorter than the sides and front. Finally, it takes great commitment to remove the fabric to wash. Graco could make this job a bit easier with the use of snaps instead of screws. Let's face it, every stroller needs a bath from time to time. Beyond these short-comings, this is a very well thought out and designed stroller.

Does the job, but has it's issues!, February 27, 2011
This review is from: Graco DuoGlider Stroller - Lowery (Baby Product)
I searched and searched through my entire 2nd pregnancy for the Perfect stroller and finally settled on this one! I also managed to find it online with a more girly appeal :) Right out of the box it was wonderful! Surprisingly easy to assemble. The drink/food trays for the seats were a little tough, but that's it!
Pros: There is a Ton of storage! The drop down basket it absolutely wonderful and makes shopping at the mall a breeze :) I can fit my diaper bag perfectly in between the 2 seats as well, so I don't have to dig it out from underneath all of the shopping bags :) (granted, I keep my diaper bags fairly small, if you have a much larger diaper bag, you may not be able to fit it there! But you will in the main basket easily!) The front seat reclines and still leaves room for the child in the back and the back seat reclines completely flat so you can put a car seat there. (We would lie our baby down in it and let her sleep and also used it as a changing table). Also, it has a little storage compartment where the handle is that fits my phone and keys perfectly! As well as a cup holder, which in my searchings, was very hard to find in a double stroller!
Cons: My Biggest Issue was the front canopy! It doesn't have good sun coverage and it was ALWAYS getting stuck! It popped out All the time and is nearly impossible to get back it!!! One day (only 7 months of having the stroller!) I was trying to adjust it and it was stuck...AGAIN and the whole thing snapped off and broke! Very Frustrating! Secondly, This stroller is HUGE. It isn't easy to swing in and out of the car and pushing it around smaller stores in the mall is quite a challenge; Especially stores that are heavily carpeted :/ However, with a double stroller I was mostly expecting it. The front tray in the childs seat makes storing difficult as it sticks out Very far. We has a lot of problems with us hitting it wrong and knocking it off, or needing to remove it when we stored it in the trunk of my lancer. (for how easy it is to knock off it sure is a pain to put it back on!) Another small issue was with the basket, however large and nice the "drop down" feature is, when the back child seat is all the way it Completely blocks the basket. Although all you really have to do is bend down and unlatch the basket, so it's a small inconvenience but something you can get used to!
Overall I gave this product 3 stars mainly because of that Stupid canopy. However, I could just have bad luck? I would suggest this stroller to others :) Good luck in your search!
