Received this as a baby shower gift. Very happy with it except for a few things. Started squeeking very early on. The Rubberish grip on the handles ripped very easily.

I love this travel system, it is adorable and sooo easy to use. The carseat is very sturdy, has very soft cushioning, and looks well made and pricier than it actually is. The stroller was very easy to put together, I didn't even need to read the instructions! The stroller is also very easy to fold and unfold, and fits well in my car. I can't see how anything would tear or break on it unless you were really rough with it, but why would you be if you have a baby in there??? True, it doesn't have elephants all over it, but that is really just superficial compared to all the other wonderful features of this system...and personally, I think the design it does have makes it look classy. :)

I bought this travel system as it is gender neutral and we don't know what we're having. I put it together myself at 7 months pregnant and it was super easy. The material isn't as poor as some other brands I've seen but isn't super great either. I'll be interested once my little one gets here on how it holds up for an active baby.

I have owned and used the Graco Alano Travel System (manufactured 11/2009) for 8 months now. I will say that while my baby was in the infant carrier I love, love, loved this system. The problem.... The carrier is only good up to 22lbs! So now we have an 8 month old baby that is too big for the seat and apparently too small for the stroller.
With the seatback fully upright (my daughters preferred seating position) it has about 3 inches of give. With her height at 8 months (and people say she is a big baby-not only in weight but in height also) that means she is able to hit her head on the tray/cup holder bar and yes the harness is as tight as it will go. I called Graco for a solution..... they suggested I remove the tray.
So I finally figured out how to remove the tray and it still does not contain my baby well enough to put her in this for "normal" usage - we have just been rolling her around in the house to see if it will work for us. Even with the bar off the seat still has that 3 inches of give and rolling her around (in the house) gives her whiplash. I can't even imagine taking her out on the sidewalk in this condition.
Totally bummed that this stroller isn't going to work for us right now and that I'm going to have to buy another stroller for the interim. I'm giving it two stars because I know when she gets bigger it will work again. I just think Graco has totally overlooked this stage of baby.

The product was exactly what I needed and is very nice.

I purchased this because I wanted a gender neutral set, which I received. The car seat is padded and comfy, I'm excited to see my baby in it in December.I am also pleased with the stroller AND the fact that the car seat already comes with a car base and I don't have to buy it separately. I read the reviews complaining about elephants, which is fine, I didn't really didn't mind if it did or didn't have them on it. FYI-there are no elephants. I joined Amazon Mom which gave me free 2 day shipping with the prime membership. The only complaint is that my prime was not extended like it was supposed to have been with the money spend on this item. I sent a e-mail to Customer Service and was promptly replied with that they need 2-3 days to sort the problem out. It hasn't been 2-3 days yet, but I'm sure Amazon will get it figured out. As for the price, I couldn't complain or have it beat. Especially with no shipping and tax cost.

Bought this for my daughter when she had her third child. She LOVES it! Says it is super easy to get car seat in and out of the base and LOVES the stroller! Very safe, cute and reasonably priced!

We just received the Elephant Parade travel system along with the maching pack and play. We had the items in our baby registry and were thrilled to continue our elephant theme. The car seat has the green and brown pattern as specified but there is absolutely NO elephants anywhere. Neither does the pack and play. Thinking that I made the mistake I went to Amazon's site to review the picture and sure enough there is a big elephant on the stroller. Amazon also features a zoomed in picture of the elephant pattern. Now I am sure that as a car seat and stroller it will work fine but the fact of the matter is we were mislead by the false advertising and now have a product that we think is so so. There were plenty of other travel systems out there that were just as cute but we went with this one. A big regret.

Does not have ANY elephants. Its called elephant parade and that's why we bought it, to match our elephant theme. There is even a picture of the print with a big elephant in the middle. Everything is there, the color and pattern and all, but no elephants....not one.

In short, the pictures, title, and description of this item are inaccurate and missleading.
