I purchased this filter for my Graco home humidifier. I regularly performed operational maintenance on my humidifier, including washing the filter. Despite the maintenance the filter slowly became discolored from the natural pollutants and minerals contained in my water. This Graco Filter helped solve my problem.

I carefully care for the filter. To avoid frequently replacing the filter, I use a procedure that can extend the life of the filter. When the filter forms a crust, I soak it for awhile in vinegar water (usually 1 part vinegar to 4 parts water). After soaking I carefully rinse the filter several times in fresh water.

The Graco humidifier that I use is an evaporation style machine. To work properly, the "filter" must be free of pollutants, as the machine adds moisture to the air by having a fan blow air through the sponge type filter (exactly like the "swamp coolers" so popular in arid climates). Clogs decrease effectiveness and add pollutants to the air in the room being used. Accordingly, in addition to carefully maintaining the filter, I add KAZ Humidifier Bacteriostatic Treatment to the reservoir to prevent the growth of bacterial agents. When properly maintained, the Graco Humidifier Replacement filter is an excellent product. I recommend this filter for evaporation humidifiers.

I have the Hamilton Beach True Air Cool Mist humidifier and these Graco filters don't work nearly as well as the Hamilton Beach filters. They don't let as much mist in the air so it's not nearly as effective. I don't like them.

This is the cheapest replacement filter for our Hamilton Beach humidifier that I found. My only complaint(s) is that it does not say how often to change these filters nor does the packaging offer any advice on how to extend the life of these filters. It seems that they do not last more than a few weeks without drying up or turning brown. I guess that's normal, but neither the humidifier nor these replacement packages tell you how often to replace the filters.

This product worked great! I do notice, however, that the filter needs to be replaced frequently. I use the humidifier in my baby twins room EVERY night. I suppose that using it so often leads to replacement more quickly! I do wish that the filter would last a little longer before needing to be switched out for a new one :)

This humidifier and these filters are the worst design ever. The filter gets all gross after 2 days of use.

I was so excited to find these on Amazon especially since I can't find them at my local superstore. Did I mention the price was also perfect?!?!

The filter is exactly what it is supposed to be . . . and cheaper than buying at Babies 'R Us.

This is a great product and seems to really do well in my childs room.... The only thing is that the filters turns a yellowish color after about 10-14 days. You have to buy several of these and have them in stock at your house so that you can change out the filter when they turn color. Otherwise, this is a good product.

These filters are extremely hard to find locally, the only place we have found them was at Babies R Us and they were more expensive than Amazon. So after searching out several diiferent avenues my wife and I decided it would be much easier if were to just get these filters on Amazon. The filters do thier job in the humidifier and help our 2 yr old breath easier.

I purchased this Graco filter for my True Air humidifier because the Graco humidifier is identical to my True Air (with the obvious Graco label slapped on instead). As another reviewer already indicated, this filter is horrible and does not perfom like the True Air filters. I purchased this filter at BRU because that is where I got the humidifier and I cannot find the filters at any other brick and mortar store. First, the filter is entirely white, lacking the silver lining on the outside like the box picture clearly shows. The True Air filters always had a blue lining on the outside of the mainly white filter. Second, after ONE nightly use it was already brown in spots. I can use my filter for several weeks, by following the manufacturer's instructions to run the humidifier after the water container is empty, to dry out the filter before storage. Finally, the filter did not get wet as the True Air filter did. Only the bottom got wet. Even when I pushed it into the water receptacle more firmly, the filter still became wet on just the bottom, rendering this filter completely useless in my opinion.

Don't waste your money on this brand.
