Love this crib! Safe, easy to assemble and looks way more expensive than it is!!!! We bought it for $149 WITH a kolcraft mattress from wal mart.com! Only took us 45 min to assemble! The changing table is awesome too!!!!

Do yourself a favor and buy a comparable crib from a different company. Graco's name is on this product but LaJobi is who manufactures and deals with the product. They are in New Jersey but are a European based company. They have an F rating with the BBB. I bought this crib and it had missing hardware. I called LaJobi to request that the hardware be sent and they said their factory was shut down and it would take weeks to send the hardware. I told them I couldn't wait and they told me to buy another brand of crib.

That is EXACTLY what I plan on doing. I followed up with Graco because I do like their products. I told them I spoke to LaJobi and that they were not helpful. Graco told me sorry there is nothing they could do.

Taking this crib back, and I will not by any Graco products in the future.

This crib was purchased as a gift for expectant parents. The packaging protected it well during shipping, which apparently turned violent. Assembly was simple, and the crib is remarkably sturdy when fully assembled. The crib is beautiful and of surprisingly high quality.

One caution: The owner's manual that ships with this crib indicates that it is not intended for newborns. This may be due to mattress dimensions (as others have mentioned) or perhaps the spacing of slats. With that having been said, a set of bumpers around the perimeter of the crib and it was ready to go. It would have been nice to know this prior to purchase.

In all, this is a beautiful, sturdy crib.

EDIT: My recommendation of adding bumpers was written before they were implicated in many SIDS deaths. I believe bumpers are considered a bad idea now.

This is my first time to write a poor review for any Amazon purchase. We got our crib nearly three months ago and it showed up with no hardware. That's understandable - mistakes happen. Since then we have called customer service once a week to attempt to get the hardware. Nothing has come. Graco outsources their crib manufacturing to a company called Lajobi who has been so difficult to deal with. Knowing the issue Graco is willing to do nothing to help us. We now have no choice but to start over and to buy a new crib. We certainly won't be buying any other Graco products going forward.

Greatly made product. Even though the packaging was punctured during transit, this product stayed in tact (other that a very small chip in the back). Great value for the money. We coudln't be happier with our choice of crib. We needed a well made, neutral looking crib. Not too fancy, but not cheap looking either. Very sturdy. This fits the bill. Could fit into ANY decor. Very easy to put together too.

I bought the white one few month ago. The crib is made of wood and covered with white paint. It's not hardwood, so it's not heavy, but it is real solid wood. Assembly is fairly easy, althought some pre-drilled holes don't line up perfectly. Once assembled, it feels pretty steady. Not as steady as those 600 dollar hardwood cribbs, but good enough for babies and toddlers. The Colgate Classica II crib mattress fits perfectly, not too tight, not too lose.

This is an excellent buy for people who are on budget, or simply don't want to spend a lot on baby furnitures.

The first crib we purchased came damaged. After receiving a 2nd crib, we noticed red stains on the side rails due to the red colored ties that were used to keep the pieces together during shipping. Genius, Graco! Perhaps white ties on a white crib would have been better.

We also noticed that the back railing of the crib that faces toward us is clearly indented all along the railing. It's quite noticeable from 5 feet away.

Also, if you want to put any storage underneath the crib (say, diapers, wipes, diaper genie refills) it's near impossible to find a container to fit. The container will need to be less than 3.5 inches. Too bad, that's a waste of usable space.

I'm too pregnant and too tired to exchange it a 3rd time. It will work for it's intended purpose but I'm not overly thrilled about it.

you could pay 3x more. but your kid is just going to bang this up by the time they are 5 yo. and you'll want a new bed anyhow. put together by 2 people in about 30 min, sturdy enough to last to 4yo or so
