We've been using this high chair for about 6 months. It's been great until now. The tray doesn't pull out far enough for a larger child. My daughter is 13 months and 24lbs. The tray is too tight on her belly. Also, the bar underneath the tray is not removable so her legs scrape against the sides when I'm trying to put her in or get her out. I rec'd this as a gift along with the pack and play, swing and travel system. When I initially registered I didn't realize this would be a problem. I was hoping to get years of use of it but I think I'm going to have to look into another highchair.

Watch out for hurling objects with this one. The tray insert is too easily removed and tossed by the baby so there is no benefit in using it. Even the main tray is easily removed by the baby. This is the big concern.

It is as simple as the baby reaching underneath and pushing up with the palm of their hands and the tray is off and flying. It is the buttons underneath used to put the tray onto the chair that are the issue. There is very little resistance to push the buttons and from the baby's position they have very good leverage to push them with no trouble at all. Very poor design. This is my first but now that I understand how babies operate I could have pointed this out as a poor design.

Our baby is 1-year old.

We got this high chair for our son and have been using it since he was about 5 months old; he's now almost 14 months. I've never used the recline feature, and I haven't yet used the raise/lower feature, though I intend to. It's easy to clean, but takes up a lot of space front to back.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the greatest drawback is the mini-tray. I did figure out how to remove it (remove the footrest by turning the chair over and removing the 2 screws that hold it on - and then look up inside and remove the 2 screws that hold on the mini tray), but then you can't clip the larger tray on. So I guess it would be useful if you want to remove the large tray and the mini tray, possibly lower the high chair a little, and pull your baby right up to the table with the rest of the family.

This seems like kind of a silly oversight by Graco. It would have been really, really easy to make that mini-tray removable, and still be able to clip on the large tray. But they didn't. Otherwise, though, this high chair is working really well for us!

I love our Meal Time high chair-- it came with toys to attach to the tray, nearly full recline, five point harness, an easily wipable seat cover, etc. It's pretty cute, and a very fair price, too! And it's very very sturdy; I never once worried about safety.

BUT I have to say that its footprint is farrr larger than the other Gracos on the market. (Contempo/Harmony) It was pretty ridiculous in my kitchen. But for some time, I felt this was a fair trade-off, considering that a larger base = safer product. This was until my child turned about 15 months old and nearly outgrew the thing-- the irony, right? It was because the little snack tray that rests underneath the actual removable dishwasher-safe tray is fixed, which means that now my son's legs catch on it every time I lift him in our out of the chair. There's no remedy for this, and despite my FOUR year old's ability to technically sit in the chair's roomy seat, neither of my children could possibly continue to use this after about 15 months. (And they are both small children!)

So while this product is safe, sturdy and cute, it's not really practical. I hate to think what it would be like if my children were tall or husky! I definitely recommend getting the Contempo chair, as there is no fixed snack tray underneath the actual tray-- and besides, it's very slender!

It took me really forever to decide on a high chair after reading so many reviews on amazon for different models.

I ended up getting this one but in the "FOREST FRIENDS" style so I'm not actually sure if the seat is the same fabric in this design. I did not buy mine from amazon.

My most important points in picking a chair were: quick and easy to clean, long term use, foldable and inexpensive.

I've only had it for a few months but so far I am really happy with our decision.

What's GREAT: The seat is easy to clean! It's a platicy material but not uncomfortable or sticky still kind of like fabric and soft for baby. All I need is a damp wash cloth and the mess wipes right off. Very few crevices for food to hide in and easy to clean out. The straps are a light brown too so you can't see stains if they were to happen and the whole thing can be thrown in the wash but I haven't had to.

What's OK: The only reason I haven't given it a 5 is that I wish I had something just like this but was even more compact when folded. I think that's just impossible though. BUT this chair folds up easy and if you have space it could easily be stowed away.

The tray could be done one handed but it's a little hard to do with baby in hand but there's no need for that. I just put my girl in her seat and then put the tray on if I want to use it.

I use the chair at the table and wherever I need it, good hight adjustability.

Check in stores for sales rather than buying online!

OH AND IT'S MUCH MORE ATTRACTIVE IN REALITY, the picture doesn't show it off, very cute and soft colours.

wipes off with a cloth, little to no crevices for food to hide in and can be removed and the straps are darker so they don't stain from the food.
