Graco Pack n' Play - Monkey Business

We chose the Graco playyard over the other brands as it seems a little bit sturdier and better built. I like the Monkey business motif (almost matches his Diaper cover) and the little monkeys that hang from the bar are cute. Snaps together easily and is remarkably light. Easy to toss in the trunk for a day at the park. Fr the beach we just play right in the sand.
The ones with the bassinet and changing tables and all the other useless crap.... Well yeah, just useless crap.

This is a pretty basic style pack 'n play, but has served very well both for my infant son and his one year old cousin. It sets up, folds up, and stores more easily than I expected, even for a small mom. I really like that you can use it at bassinet level; it's much easier to reach a small baby, especially if you have it next to your bed. The monkey print and monkey mobile are cute and gender neutral. I really haven't missed any other frills that other models have (changing tables, vibrators, etc.) though I'm sure those would be worth it for some people. Another detail I really like is that there are tabs on the bottom of the mattress that slip through slits in the bottom of the bed and velcro underneath, thus securing the mattress to the bottom pretty effectively. That will certainly cut down on some playing under the mattress, etc. It certainly seems like with the occasional use it's getting, it will hold up through however many children we have.

This product is very easy to setup and take down and is perfect for overnight trips and every day use at home. When it is rolled up it is easy to transport. The mattress is quite thin, but probably has to be to wrap around for carrying. I searched for a thicker mattress to buy for home use, because we will use it as a crib for a while, but cannot find anything. (I ordered the quilted mattress pad and was disappointed at how thin it was and returned it.) For $69.99 this is a great buy and we didn't feel we needed the extra add-ons available in the higher priced models. I definitely recommend this.

I love the motif. It fit our jungle theme, even for a little girl. I don't like reading directions, so it took me a couple times to get the take down and packing up right, but it's super easy to set up...take less than 5 minutes once I got it down. It's a little heavy for transport, but it's compact and it's sturdy and we used it as a bassinet first when she was a newborn and then put her down in the crib as she got older. We bring it to friends and families' homes and they are grateful to have something that sets up and rolls from room to room easily. I recommend this product. We love it...the thin mattress can be solved by wrapping a blanket around the bottom and tucking it under. Baby sleeps just fine in it.

This is exactly what I expected. No frills, but simple to set up and take apart, easy to store. We don't need the changing table or bassinet, so it is perfect for our small city apartment. We travel frequently, so I expect to use it often in after the first month or two. I did buy the padded crib sheet because the 'mattress' seemed a little thin. This was true for most models I checked out in stores before ordering though.

I received this item from my baby shower and I have been using it for my 7 month old- the bassinet was great when he was able to use it and now that he is pre-crawling, this pack and play works great for keeping him contained when its needed. Easy to transport to relatives' homes and easy to set up and take down and spot cleaning works well though I have noticed some splashes of stains under the mattress pad which is odd (usually staining involve milk/formula) so that makes me wonder if it spills right through the mattress pad. Overall great item to have

This is my second purchase of this item. The first one my mother kept at her house for when she keeps the baby - and the fact that I didn't get it back speaks volumes about how useful and well like the product is by baby. It is east to setup and breakdown and took the place of the pretty much useless bassinet for sleeping in our room. The partability is awesome and baby can come into the home office, or any room of the office for supervised play time and naps. I would spend much more for the additional features on the more expensive models, you'll just end up taking that stuff off and using the item like ths basic model.

This is just what we need as we travel alot to Grandma and Grandpa houses. Very simple not with all the frills and thrills of others but it will do exactly what we need it to do. Simple to put together. Most complicated part is putting it back in the travel bag I am sure the more it is used the easier that will be to figure out.
