Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe Travel System - Townsend,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe Travel System with Snugride32, Townsend (Baby Product)
After months of research on the best stroller, infant seat, travel system, etc., I decided on the Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe Travel System in the Townsend print. I have been nothing but pleased. When I decided I wanted to go with the Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe Travel System, I was disappointed in the color and pattern selection available at several retail stores. A lot of Graco patterns are just too much. Crazy, loud prints, or very gender-specific colors. The Townsend pattern is lovely - understated brown and seafoam green, that will work easily with a boy or girl. One of the main reasons for purchasing from Graco was the larger size infant seat - the Snugride32, which accommodates an infant up to 32" and 32lbs. Since my husband and I are both very tall, we assumed that we would have a large baby and wanted an infant seat that would accommodate her easily and for a long time. At birth she was 8 lbs and 21 1/4 inches long. Now, at 1 year, she is 19 lbs and 30" long. This infant seat has fit her perfectly the entire year. The straps are easy to adjust, and she loves the comfort of her infant seat. She falls asleep almost every time she's in the car because it's so comfortable. The hooks on the top for using with a seatbelt are also very handy to use. We each have a base in our car, but the few times we've had to take her in another car and had to hook her seat in using the car seatbelt, I have felt comfortable knowing that she is secure. The only downside to the infant seat is that it is heavy, and somewhat awkward to carry. The stroller is wonderful. As previously stated, both my husband and I are quite tall, and this stroller is a comfortable height for both of us. The cupholders and parent tray are so handy. My big Jackie-O sunglasses don't fit in the sunglass case, so I use it to hold the camera. Perfect size, and it keeps it handy. The child tray is awesome, too. Keeps her snacks close by, and the majority of the time she uses it as a foot rest. The storage basket on the bottom is very large - big enough to accommodate my enormous diaper bag, with plenty of room left over. Sometimes the basket sticks when you're trying to lower it, you just need to wiggle it a little. It is hard to access the basket when the stroller is fully reclined, so I usually just leave the basket down. The stroller is quite large - I drive a small SUV (Mazda CX-7) and it fills almost the entire cargo area. But, that's the case with most all full-sized strollers. If you drive a car, try putting the stroller in upside down - it's a lot easier than trying to squish it in right-side up. My husband drives an Infiniti M35, and the stroller fits into his trunk easily, with plenty of room to spare, when placed upside down. The one hand fold is nice, but in reality, one hand fold on any stroller this size isn't that big of a deal - you're going to have to use both hands to get it into the car, anyways. It's nice, though, to be able to fold it quickly and easily if, per se, a valet is loading it into your car for you, or you're folding it down in a jetway when you're about to get on an airplane holding your baby and 6 other bags. The only downside to the stroller is that the front wheels shake like crazy when you jog with it. I know that it isn't a jogging stroller - I have only jogged with it when crossing intersections, and the wheels shake so badly I fear that one of them will fall off. So cross any streets slowly and with extra caution. I have used this stroller almost daily for over a year now, and have never had an issue. I would definantly recommend it to anyone.

We searched online for good travel system using reviews, then went and checked out the best rated models in store. I wish there would be more different colors of same model, but unfortunately if color is different then the fabric quality is different as well, so we went for for townsend, which we liked the best. The assembly was fast and easy. Note this travel system comes with the base for the car seat as well. The car seat is very good, 'cause you don't need to adjust the belts on the back on the seat (as with some car seats) every time you put your child in it, you just pull the belt in front and that is it. 360grad radius of canopy on the stroller is very nice and sturdy. Cup holders is a very nice touch as well. The stroller is a bit bid though, it is not the best size stroller to go shopping with the baby. Over all I'd recommend this TS to everyone, check it out in stores (Burlington, Babysrus) and get it if you like it, it is a good choice for the money.

I do like the stroller because it is very manueverable and handles curbs and bumpy roads well. My only complaint is that it is bulky and takes up most of the space in my SUV's trunk. Overall, well made and well worth the money.

It looks even better in person than online and rolls very easily. It didn't take my husband very long to put together either, maybe 30 minutes. My only complaint is that it looks like it will be a pain to wash the material attached to the stroller, but other than that, seems great. The carseat fabric can be removed very easily. I've already washed that to prepare for the little one. And the installation of the base into the car was very simple. Overall, I would recommend this stroller/car seat set.

Our baby was born at 33 weeks, we were a little concerned that he would not fit into it. We brought him home at 35 weeks and with just a little help from some blankets it worked perfect. We have loved it. It is a little bigger than some of the others but he will also get to stay in it longer. The stroller is very easy to collapse and put back together. I would recommend this system.

I love this one. The car seat is very, very secure in a car. Ours does not budge at all!. The harness is easy to use.The stroller is big, but not too heavy and has lots of room. The whole thing is perfectly thought out. If you need a stroller and a car seat combo, this one is the route to go. Highly recommended!

My son is now 11 months old and I still absolutely love this stroller. I keep it in my trunk at all times and use it in stores, outdoors, at the mall, or just for walks around the neighborhood. I love the three seating positions. (Sitting upright, reclined, or flat.) When my son is awake he likes to sit straight up, and if he's fallen asleep in the car and I don't want to wake him while I'm shopping he doesn't wake up when I put the seat all the way down. I used to really appreciate being able to just move the car seat into the stroller and not disturb the baby, but I've gotten him a new car seat, now.I'm expecting again, so I'm going to need a double stroller and I've ordered the same model made for two. I'm really excited. I've used this stroller for over 11 months and I'm still in love with it!

Cheaply made, unappealing stroller,

I bought this stroller as a first-time parent, totally inexperienced in terms of stroller selection. I surely know better now! This stroller has been a pain from day one. Unless you use it on a super-even surface, like the floor, it jumps on every little bump in the road. So, unless you only take your baby out to the stores or to the mall (which is a pretty unrealistic scenario), this stroller is shaky and gives the baby a bumpy ride on the asphalt pathways (where most people take strolls with babies, normally). The material is cheap plastic, and the shade does not go low enough, so if the sun is out, it does not block it very well. The worst part is the low quality of this stroller. After only 7 months of use (and I was treating it very well, I must say), one of the wheels just broke off during a walk in the park. It broke off with the part that was supposed to hold it onto the stroller, in other words, beyond repair. Also, although the car seat that comes with the stroller has good safety ratings, if you read up online, (that is why I bought this travel system in the first place), it is bulky and heavy, and not very comfortable for the baby. Honestly, there are better car seat options out there, and even if you want this particular car seat, it does fit with many other (better!) strollers. I would NEVER have bought this travel system have I known about other (better!) alternatives. Yes, they are more costly. But, if you are buying a stroller, IMHO it is better to pay a bit more for something you and your baby would enjoy using, than buying something useless like this.

This stroller is really good. I bought it 2 years ago and it is great still. Be careful if your car has little space in the trunk. The wheels are easy to go , the basket is good and the patterns great. I'm planning my second child and I don't have to buy another one because this one still looks new. I don't care if some people tells me that is big because when you go shopping with kids my baby can sleep perfectly in it and I have enough space to put her bag and stuff in there. Really Confortable.
