Best Double Stroller,
This review is from: Graco Quattro Tour Duo Stroller, Clairmont (Baby Product)
I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 7 week old and when I was pregnant with my second I was up night after night looking for a double stroller that would fit my needs. I wanted something that would fit through the doors at the store but I could also take to the zoo or in the grass. I first purchased a Sit N Stand but then returned it because of the quality, lack of storage, and realizing my 2 year old was no where big enough to be in the back sitting OR standing. So then I purchased this and I couldnt be happier. I've taken it to stores, down dirt paths, in the grass, down cracked sidewalks and it steers great! It is very very heavy, yes, but anything that is made well and will withstand some bumps and bruises will be very heavy. My infant GRACO carseat fits in the back and my toddler sits in front. It's very easy to fold up and down with one hand. There is big storage underneath for bags and I love the sun shields. My only complaint is that the front seat will not fold down if my toddler wanted to take a nap but who am I kidding...like that happens anyway! Hope this helps you but I would definately recommend this stroller for an all purpose.

I bought this in the Laguna colors from Baby's R Us. It is so cute! It works great for my twins, its light and corners well, folds easily, carries lots of stuff (I have to use it to grocery shop with twins.) I like that I can take my baby out of the carseat (she hates it) when she wakes up and put her in the bassinet part and put the carseat in the bottom basket since it folds down and it FITS! I can also push and steer it easily with one hand while holding one baby. I love the handles because I can hang bags on them. It's also pretty balanced, I put a lot of weight on the handles and it never feels like it might tip back. I get lots of compliments about this stroller, I don't think anyone has ever complimented my stroller before.I have 5 children and have had many strollers but this one is the BEST!

With a toddler and a newborn, we needed to upgrade to a double stroller that was good on the rough city streets of Chicago. We immediately ruled out a "double wide" stroller because we didn't want to take up the whole sidewalk. So that really limited options to the Sit N Stand, Phil and Ted's duo, and the Graco brand. As an added challenge, my 2.5 year old is already 40 pounds and it was tough to find a stroller seat that would accommodate over that weight limit. We ruled out the Sit N Stand because we didn't think our busy toddler would stand or sit in the back for long. Plus we had the Baby Trend single stroller and the wheels were sometimes a challenge on the uneven city sidewalks. Then we ruled out Phil and Ted's because the toddler addition in the back seemed too low to the ground and the weight limit maxed out at 40 pounds. We figured that our toddler would either capsize the stroller or have it dragging on the ground with his weight. Plus all the complaining that he was sitting in the back. So that left the Graco Quattro Tour Duo stroller. This stroller is almost perfect for our needs. Our toddler sits in the front seat (facing forward) so he can see all the action but still be strapped in. And the front seat weight limit is 50 pounds. Then our Graco Snug Safe carseat snaps into the back, facing backwards toward the walker. The rear seat also folds all the way down so there is the option of putting the baby in lying down instead of using the carseat. The basket under the stroller folds down for easy access; there is also a small removable pouch that goes on the handlebars to put keys/cell phone in. Both seats have snack/cup holders for the kids. The wheels seem sturdy so far and can lock in place if the stroller goes on gravel or rocky surfaces. The stroller folds up fairly compactly into this sort of pod-like form. There is a video on the "big brand toy site" that shows how the stroller folds up. The stroller can also accommodate two Graco car seats at once too (I guess if you had twins). Cons: * The canopy for the front seat just barely covers our toddler's head (he is very tall) but it's removable so easy to fix the problem. * The front seat can't recline at all with an infant seat in the rear so our toddler has to sit up very straight. He doesn't mind but he looks a bit odd sitting perfectly upright. * It's a bit heavy (what double stroller isn't?) but with two kids in the stroller and if it's really windy out, it can be hard to push. In all, not a bad purchase! We purchased from Amazon.com because of the free shipping - it really made a difference in price comparison shopping and the phone customer service is always good too. Just wish UPS was a bit gentler with packages - the stroller arrived a bit dented from transport.

Love the stroller... it swivels nicely, not heavy with the carseat and a 30lb 2 year old in front. My 2 yr old finds the front comfy enough to nap in it, which is a big plus, the reclining on the front seat is awesome and so is the back seat of course. Love the storage, it's really big and you can access it through different sides... love the small storage under the front seat too, my toddler loves to store his goodies there. Loved the color, very gender neutral. Over all happy with the stroller.

I purchased this to use when my 2nd son was born. I intended to use it primarily for walking in the neighborhood to shed some baby weight. I did not buy the jogger strollers because I thought a tandem stroller would be more versatile and easier to maneuver because I am 4'11" and 120 lb.I love this stroller! Here is why: 1) is truly 1-handed fold and unfold. The mechanism is easy even for me to operate. You don't have to jiggle it or lean into it. 2) can be comfortable for tall or small statured people; the handle doesn't adjust but a taller person Can grab the upper part of the bar, and the base can be used for shorter folks 3) the handle bars are great for hanging bags on 4) versatile: both seats can fit a toddler or an infant seat; the rear seat can be a pram type seat with a pop out piece to keep the infant from slipping out 5) accessories: both seats have a snack and cup holder; there is cup holder and a storage pouch on the handlebar for the parent 6) cost: you get a lot for the price 7) ease of use: handles well. Rides a little rougher than my Chicco cortina, but is still fairly smooth Here are some features that are less pleasing: 1) it's heavy and bulky. Not too heavy for comfort but maybe too bulky for the trunk of a small car 2) some reviewers say their Chicco key fit fits, but mine does not snap in place I can't really fault Graco for either of those 3) my 3 year old is too tall for the canopies (just now 36 months)

I did a TON of research before I bought this stroller. I was going to buy a side-by-side jogging stroller but chose this one because it seemed to meet more of my needs and I figured it would be just fine to take walking because my last double Graco stroller was. I do love the stroller, but it certainly has its pros and cons.It is beautiful and has great, detailed features. The many cup and snack holders are nice to have. However, you need just the right size of a bottle to not have it moving around the whole time. The front seat is easy for my 2 year old to get in and our of by herself. A feature that I love that is not advertised is that there is a piece that comes up in the front of the back seat, turning it into a little bassinet. It makes it so I can lay my infant in the back without worrying about a buckle, as it cradles him. The back seat reclines with one hand and has 2 different positions. However, it only lies "mostly" flat. This doesn't entirely matter since it can be in the bassinet position for an infant. I did put 2 kids in the back of my last Graco and this one is harder to do that because the seat stays on a slight incline. The storage bucket underneath is huge. However, I find it harder to access than my last double Graco. It's a flimsy bar holding it all up and you can't put something heavy on the bottom. The latch can be a pretty big pain to get undone if the back seat is lying down. The biggest problem with this stroller It's HUGE! Like I said, I had a double Graco so I didn't worry when other reviews said that it was large. I figured it would be comparable to my last one. It's not. It's probably 10 pounds heavier. It does have a 1-hand fold which is awesome but you have to bend over and push the cup holders in to latch it. I can hardly lift it folded up and it takes up the entire bottom/back of my mini van. We just took it on a trip and it was almost ridiculous. In a nutshell... there are so many great, luxury things about this stroller. My kids are truly riding in style. It pushes easy, has places for everything and just makes sense. But... be prepared for a huge stroller.

I'm expecting baby #4. I had a Graco double with my first two and it was awesome. It wasn't as fancy as this Quattro Tour Duo.Sometimes the bells and whistles aren't needed though. While I appreciate the cup holders (hey, who has too many cup holders?) and I like the different handles (great for short me and taller hubby) don't expect too much from that basket. I really like the idea that the basket could be lowered because, lets face it, the basket on almost EVERY stroller is a pain to get into if you have a reclining baby. But this one lowers to almost flat so things sometimes fall out and it's not the best design for getting it down either. You just kinda push and pull this way and that and down it goes. I'd think they'd figure out a button or dohickey for that :) My older kids are 5,4, and 1 and since my 1 year old outgrew his infant seat already we decided to go ahead and put this together and start using it. Actually the 1 year old and I put it together in about 30 minutes. I've pushed this with the 1 year old in the back and the 4 year old in the front and turning does get trickier with more weight. But that's going to be the case no matter WHICH double you pick. I have a double jogger as well and this is easier to turn than that. I'm in my third trimester and I'm comfortable picking this up and loading it into the back of my Honda Odyssey. That's more than I could say for the Chicco double which I was first inclined to go with because that's what my infant seat and single are. But the Chicco is so much heavier and burdensome... We'd have to stop our trips to the zoo and everywhere I use the stroller until after baby comes because I couldn't be picking that one up on my own right now. I decided to loan my single and infant seat to a friend instead and buy the Graco seat to go with this stroller. The colors are nice and neutral. My 1 year old is all boy and the new baby will be a girl so that was a little important to me. The turquoise is not so blue that a girl wouldn't like it... in fact it's one of my favorite colors. The only things I don't really like are: -The shades have to be in a certain position when you go to fold it or they get caught up. -Once when I was folding down the shade got caught and popped one of the cup holders on the very front out. Thankfully they pop right back in.) -The basket recline is picky but after a few uses you really get used to it. -I wish the seat belts didn't come all the way apart so easily. They get a little lost under the little ones and my kids don't sit still long enough for me to fish all 5 pieces out to do the 5 point. Overall, I've used this for the past couple of months and I've loaded it down with kids and shopping trips and it's done a great job. I'm happy with my purchase.

Already a fan of the Graco single seat stroller that folds down in the same way, I got this for my growing family. My 3 year old (30 lbs) and 5 month old (17 lbs) both enjoy the ride and I enjoy the ease of opening and closing to load into the Odyssey. I'm only 5 feet tall and barely 100 lbs and I can easily fold and unfold the thing (with one hand) and heft it in and out of the minivan by myself. I's really not all that much larger than the single version, and I like the locking mechanism much better than the one on my single stroller. I also like the roomy storage pouch on the bottom. I usually don't bother with shopping carts at the grocery store or while doing other shopping, I just put everything under the stroller. The pouch is large enough to store my extra big diaper bag (backpack) for both kids and even a small folding step stool for my potty trained 3 year old boy to use in restrooms. I can hang my purse on the curved handle, and I have a Mommy Hook for shopping bags or holding a gallon of milk at the grocery store. I'm so glad I purchased this from Amazon because, as a Prime member it arrived in time to go on a last minute trip to Disney World AND with free shipping! We LOVE it!!!
