Over all, I love the product, my daughter seems to be very comfortable, & it is was extremely easy to use/install.

The latch system is difficult to get tight enough, and in my car, the clips make it difficult to remove the seat.

This is actually the second Graco My Ride 65 car seat we've purchased. We had one for my baby from 4 months old- 11 months old when we were in a car accident. A car hit us head on and then we were hit from behind by a dump truck. The car was totaled but with my baby in this seat, he came away without even a bruise or bump to show for it! I immediately decided to replace it with the same seat that protected my child so well.

Besides being so safe, I love that my child will be able to fit in it for such a long time. He loves sitting in it and it seems really comfortable for him. The straps are really easy to adjust also, which is wonderful when working about winter coats and such. It is a rather large seat and might not fit well in small vehicles, but we love ours!

My daughter bought the Graco My Ride 65LX (Asbury) for my granddaughter last month. The baby is 10 months old and 20 pounds. She installed the car seat forward facing. Now I know that it's safer to keep them rear-facing for as long as possible, but this was my daughter's choice. Anyway, they were involved in a bad accident the other day. They were driving 70 mph (the speed limit) on the highway when they were run off the road. They were in a 2011 Nissan Versa Hatchback (a fairly small economy car). The seat was installed in the center of the rear seat. The car rolled over three times before coming to a stop on all four wheels. The baby didn't even have so much as a bump or bruise on her. She was fine. I love this car seat. I believe it saved her life. Even forward facing for a baby that small, she came out of it without a scratch. I highly recommend this seat. It's comfortable, she's happy in it, it holds her head up when she sleeps, and the seat has great side protection. I also think that the little head supports provided a lot of protection from the roll over by cushioning her head preventing excessive side to side movement. She now has to buy a new car seat and she will be buying the exact same one. There's no better testament to how safe your car seat is than it actually being put to the test. Thank you Graco for making a great car seat that saved my grandbaby's life.

We bought this carseat from our local Target about a year ago, and overall, we've been very pleased with its performance. We have installed it in a 2011 Honda Accord and a 2013 Kia Sorento, and it's worked well in both vehicles. I love that it's well-padded, and it seems super comfortable for our 17 month-old daughter. Compared to our "spare" carseat (a Cosco Scenera), it's a Cadillac! The seat cover is easy to wash, and I love the two cup-holders. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because it is HUGE and a little difficult to get a nice, tight install using the LATCH system. It wasn't until we watched a quick, 30-second video on YouTube that we found the solution: pull the LATCH belt towards the inside of the seat instead of pulling straight up. We were pulling the belt up towards us, which wasn't getting it as tight as it needed to be for a rock-solid, rear-facing installation. Now, the carseat doesn't budge at all! I'm so glad we found that video, otherwise, we were contemplating turning her forward. We love this seat! You will not regret buying it.

I bought one each of Asbury and Sonata for my twins. They're nice carseats, but the seat fabric on the two is different. Sonata is soft microfiber. Asbury is a sort of uncomfortable vinyl. Now my twins fight over the Sonata chair.

I bought MyRide 65 as a secondary seat in my husband's car. I really don't like it. I also have a Britax and it's so much easier.

These are my issues: The strap adjustment for the child's shoulders is located in such a way that when it is rear-facing, it's incredibly difficult to tighten. You must pull a strap by the child's feet downward and your automobile seat is in the way!!! I feel uncomfortable every time I put her in this seat, I fear that I do not have her tightened in adequately.

Also if you have any issues with hand strength the button to release the shoulder straps is extremely difficult to depress. I have carpal tunnel and it's a bear. As the child grows, shoulder strap adjustment must be done with the seat removed from the car. Don't use this seat if you want to use it for children of different sizes interchangably. It's too much of a pain. In the Britax there is a round knob on the side you just turn to adjust the strap height. Easy Peasy.

I feel the angle of the Myride 65 is too vertical. When my daughter was a newborn her chin touched her chest more in this seat than the Britax. My daughter has greater difficulty sleeping in this seat on long road trips due to it's more vertical position and lighter padding.

All in all, If I were to do it all over again I am glad I didn't purchase this seat as our primary car seat.

I looove this car seat and so does my son. Before this we had more of a booster seat so that I could save bucks by not buying the stage between infant seat and boosters. But when we would go anywhere that required him to sleep (traveling during naptime or late at night) he would simply not sleep. Up until the point of exhaustion he would pass out, his head would fall forward, and he would start crying pitifully. After taking a 5 hour trip in which he didn't sleep a wink but was obviously exhausted, I decided that we couldn't do that to him anymore. This seat is comfy and has a nice recline when in the forward stage that lets him sit back and enjoy the ride. He can still see out the front window but I expect he might not be able to see out side windows well because of the sides of the seat would block his view. It does take up some space but when in the middle, smaller people could sit beside it but it would be a bit uncomfortable for them. Oh well, my kid takes precedence, lol. It's worth glancing in the mirror and seeing him sitting back, looking comfy, and enjoying the ride for a change. Plus, all the safety benefits make it all worth it.
