4.0 out of 5 stars Cute, buckle is a little difficult
I love the print of the carseat and it works just as well as any other grace infant carseat I've used with one exception. The buckles require some finesse and getting used to. They don't click in without a little practice. If you let someone else take your baby I would suggest showing them how to buckle it a couple times before.

3.0 out of 5 stars Terrible strap tighteners
This is our second Graco snugride-- we were happy with our first one and needed a second. I thought a snugride was a snugride, but boy was I wrong. 3.0 out of 5 stars Terrible strap tighteners, November 2, 2010

This is our second Graco snugride-- we were happy with our first one and needed a second. I thought a snugride was a snugride, but boy was I wrong. Our first snugride had a handy belt adjustment device in the front by the crotch strap, so you could loosen and tighten the belts as needed. This model does not have that feature. Instead, the tightening device is on the BACK of the seat, and its not easy to use at all. You basically have to manually thread the straps through a little ring-- totall PIA. And since its on the back, its not at all easy to access once you have the seat in the car. Not having the belt tightener in the front is basically a disincentive to use the straps at the proper tension-- a terrible and unsafe feature. I wish I had not bought this seat, or at the very least wish I had checked that this seat had that adjustable feature in the front like my old snugride. Hopefully by reviewing it here I will save someone else from making the same mistake.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good seat but rear strap release isnt great., July 14, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
We had an older version of this style of seat and needed to replace it for our second child. We bought this one as it looked nice and was almost identical to our old seat which we loved. The first time we went to load up the new baby we noticed that once the straps are tightened the release mechanism is on the rear of the seat, we were used to having it at the front - this was our fault for missing this. We returned this particular seat and bought the mickey mouse version (the only one amazon had with front release strap and used the same snugride base).

Good product in terms of the seat, just a bummer that the release is on the rear, makes it much harder to get the child out. Maybe it was just that we were used to the front strap release.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not the usual quality of a Graco., August 1, 2010
I loved Graco for my daughter 7 years ago. So I registered for the Mickey Mouse themed car seat for my son. I should have known better as anything to do with Disney automatically means the quality suffers. I assume so that Graco can pay the ridiculous cost of licensing, they had to skimp on the quality. The problems: the lining is thin and I can only guess uncomfortable, the material they used doesn't breathe and causes my son to sweat even in air conditioning, and now the buttons to push to release the carrying handle don't work and when they do, they screech so loudly there's no getting around waking a sleeping baby. If you can see it in the store and compare it to a non-character-licensed Graco, you'll see the difference.

1.0 out of 5 stars Hate this!, August 16, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is the worst car seat ever! You have to adjust the straps from the BACK!!! And it is very difficult, at that! So, when your baby happens to be wearing a thick sweater, you'd better have time to futz around with this. I am looking to buy another one- wish I'd spent the extra 20 bucks and bought a decent one in the first place. Live n' learn.

4.0 out of 5 stars Like it but it's got minimal padding, August 22, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Graco Snugride Infant Car Seat, Mickey (Baby Product)
There were such good reviews on this and it had all the features that I was looking for or supposed to look for. But what wasn't mentioned anywhere is that the padding is minimal. Haven't found any safe or legit solution to that because most are not safety crash tested by the car seat company. If you like cush for your little one's tush then you shd go for SnugRide 32 or 35 & if you want to go outside of Graco then go for Chico Keyfit. The Graco website does have a good features comparison among their offerings. And like I said, this has every feature that I wanted but for the padding.

I looked and looked for a car seat with dots, and I finaly found one. At the time I did not need a stroller, so I just got the car seat. It is a great pruduct to have,as well as its pretty look. My daughter loves it, its light weight, easy to take apart when you need to wash it. I realy enjoy this pruduct.

5.0 out of 5 stars Adorable and Safe!, April 14, 2011

Exactly what I expected and adorable to boot! This was purchased to replace my Graco car seat that was in a car accident and I was worried about it fitting the stroller and extra bases I have. But Graco was on top of it. It fits all the old bases and it fits in my Graco stroller. Perfect! The design is great and I love the Mickey. It is much cuter in person! Very happy with purchase.

1.0 out of 5 stars Scratchy loud fabric, January 7, 2012

I was so disappointed in the fabric of this car seat that we returned it immediately. It was so loud and scratchy and can only be described as really cheap and synthetic. I can't imagine a baby ever falling asleep in this chair easily - I imagine it to be like going to sleep in crumpled paper! Pity though, cause the design of the fabric and the colors are cute.

1.0 out of 5 stars Horrible strap placement, December 2, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
We bought this seat to replace our old snugride which had expired. Little did we know they removed the front tightening strap and replaced it with a new rear mechanism. You must reach to the back of the seat to both tighten and loosen the straps each time you use it. This is a major pain and had we known it was like this, we would have gladly spent the extra money to get a different model. On a positive note, the fabric is very cute.
