very satisfied,

I got this swing about a month ago, and have been very pleased thus far. My apartment isn't very big, so I LOVE that it combines a bouncy chair and swing in one, so I don't always have those separate items taking up space. My two month old really digs looking up at himself in the overhead mirror. . . but the little monkeys that hang next to it are quite lame in my opinion.
If I had designed the swing, things I would have done differently: I would have made it so the toys on the tray wouldn't interfere with opening the tray fully when removing the child (in the fully reclined position when you go to open the tray, one of the toys hits the side of the swing so you can't open it completely, giving you less room to maneuver the baby in/out). I would also have liked the upper toys and mirror to be on an arm that you could move out of the way when getting the baby out. As it is, it can be a little tricky getting him out especially, without hitting his head on something. It would have been nice if the overhead toys weren't quite so high up for when the baby's in the swing, so he could try to play with them instead of just look at them. Lastly, I don't like that the music cycles through all the different songs. I'd prefer to be able to choose which song/songs to listen to instead of being locked in to having them all play. Those things aside, I really do love the swing! It runs great, I like the safari themed toys and fabric, and again, I am really pleased with the bouncy chair/swing combo. Having all sorts of options between using the swing and vibration is awesome!! And it's nice that if he's in the swing and I want to bring him with me to another room it's super easy to detach the chair, and it's just as easy to put it back on. Also, I'm glad that it has a 5 point harness. Currently my boy doesn't move around all that much so it's not so necessary now, but as he gets bigger and more mobile, I like that I'll be able to strap him in securely so I won't worry about him toppling out somehow.

Worth a Million to me.,

I love this swing. First of all, because it's a two-in-one; it saves money and space while serving dual purposes (which is always a plus). It has a very cute pattern. I love the classic melodies and the 6 different speeds.
My 2 month old son has loved his swing and bouncer since day one. I probably get more use out of this swing than any other baby seat or toy I own. The only con I can find is that the toys above are a little boring. Well, my son loves to stare at them, but they just remind me of old, cheap, "happy meal" toys, so I wish there was something a little more interesting there instead. The mirror is great though! I also love how the seat reclines in different settings so he can be tilted back more. Overall, for me and my son, this swing is worth a million bucks. It has definitely saved my arm from falling off- haha.

highly recommended versatile swing,

i highly recommend this swing, as it is sturdy, quiet and versatile. instead of having to have a bouncy chair and a swing, you can just use this one.
i do recommend not installing the tray until your child is old enough for it, because it can be difficult to remove. i didn't add it until my son was 4 months old - as advised by other reviews i read the chair is easy to remove, and also recline while the baby is even in the swing. my son also greatly enjoys the vibration the swing offers as well as the nature music and classical music. highly recommended!

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Graco Swing 'n Bounce, Inman Park (Baby Product)
PROS: Solidly built and attractive. The music and motor for the swing operate on the same battery, and after two months of use, I have yet to have to change them. The music isn't too annoying (let's face it, anything gets old after a while), and it's a pretty quiet unit. I LOVE that I don't have to have a separate bouncy-seat and swing, because I need and use them both but in a smaller house, having them separate would have taken up a lot of space. I also love that the frame of the swing folds up, because we can stash it behind the couch when we need to.
CONS: The lap tray WILL NOT stay closed. The part that goes between the baby's feet pushes down into the seat itself, and there is too much tension in the fabric, so it always pops back open. Yes, there is a harness, so it's not really a safety issue, but when my son gets older, I don't see how he'll be able to use it for toys or anything. I am about to just figure out how to remove it altogether. Also, the toy bears are only on the swing frame, and well out of the reach of baby (no matter how old), so they're kind of pointless. The seat doesn't come with any toys at all, so once my son is older, I don't imagine he'll stay entertained in it for very long. Yes, you can buy some that will attach to the tray, but with the problems I've had keeping that closed, I don't want to do that. Overall, I'm glad we bought this unit because it fits in our house well, but I'm afraid we won't get much use out of it once my son gets older.

Very versatile swing!,

I am a teacher and I bring my baby to work with me. So, I needed something to put my baby in where ever I went that would work if she was awake, asleep or needed to go to sleep. This was the best purchase I could have made. It allowed me to rock the baby to sleep, then, move her from one room to another without waking her up. I use it outside and as a high chair during lunch time. It plays music, reclines to different levels and vibrates. This is my third child and this has been the best swing!

Mostly good--we really love the bouncer...,

This review is from: Graco Swing 'n Bounce Infant Swing (Baby Product)
I loved the Broadstreet pattern, so we have the bouncer and the infant carseat in it. Too bad they didn't make a double stroller in it!
Our 3 month old isn't too keen on the swing, although I think it's because it's usually set up away from me and he likes to be close. The bouncer, however, is a lifesaver. He's really refluxy so he's slept in the bouncer every night since he was 1 month. We put it in his pack-and-play so that if by some long shot he slides out, he won't fall far like if it was on the swing. That's just because we swaddle him still, though, so the harness won't work at night. In summary, though: Good: Bouncer has lots of room to grow and has endured many hours every night well--not too stretched out or anything. Swing speeds vary--I'm not sure why some people's seem to not work--ours has been great. Music cycles through lots of songs--yay, variety for Mommy! Folds up!!! We have the swing folded up behind the tv and it's so nice to only get it out when we need it--sets up fast and one handed. Not So Good: The toys hang so high up that he hardly notices them--what good is a mirror if you can't see it? The bouncer vibrator has a short, I think--but it's run every night for hours and hours, so maybe I just already wore it down. I need to call Graco and see what they recommend. The motor is loud--I have a hard time believing he'll ever sleep in it since he always stares at the motor box like it's really noticeable to him...but then again, I haven't tried having him sleep in it since he was a month old. All in all, I would recommend it, but I do think I might try to make some little velcro extensions for the toys so they hang down lower. Also, I'm throwing out another big recommendation not to add the tray part until baby is older--I never even tried because it's too old for baby and now I've read several reviews saying the same thing--it's hard to get the tray off once it's on so wait until baby is old enough for it!

swing and bounce is a good buy,
This review is from: Graco Swing 'n Bounce 2-in-1 Infant Swing, Broadstreet (Baby Product)
The Graco Swing 'N' Bounce is a pretty good buy. The price is nice because you get a swing and a bouncy seat. I have only used it for a week so this review may not be true in another month. The bouncy seat is great, he content with it. The swing is nice, but speed 1 doesn't work well. I'm not sure if it is because the baby doesn't weigh enough to keep it going but the rest of the speeds are fine. Also the legs have to be completely pulled as far as you can get them apart or the swing catches on the speaker and brings it to a stop. The music is nice, but the nature sounds are kind of annoying. It is like a static with some birds or water in the background. Taking the bouncy seat from the swing is very simple, not hectic at all. Putting the swing together is not that difficult, I would say it takes approx. 30 minutes. Overall I am satisfied with the swing and the bouncy seat so far.

works good but not as good as others,

This review is from: Graco Swing 'n Bounce Infant Swing (Baby Product)
We got this swing before our boy was born. It went together somewhat easily, a little confusing if you don't use the instructions. now 2 months old...
Our son does not like this swing. He does not mind being in the bouncy seat part of it, but not for more than 10-15mins. The BADS: The pullover tray is very hard to close and keep closed (possible safety hazard). The vibrator on the seat is extremely loud. The plastic on the legs break after awhile. The seat is not perfectly lined up when on the swing. It swings crooked. The animals on top are too high for the baby to really see. The price is TOO high for what you get. We ended up listing ours on craigslist and cant get any takers. We bought the other kind of swing that allows the baby to swing sideways or forwards and is adjustable. Works much better.

Colorful, quality, and practical 2-in-1 Swing,
By Darcy (New Jersey) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Graco Swing N' Bounce 2-in-1 Infant Swing Little Jungle (Baby Product)
The Graco Swing N' Bounce combo in Zarafa is exactly as the picture shows. The colors of the fabric are vibrant and not faded and it has a very neutral look to it. I plan to keep it in my main living area where the colors of the room are all the earth tones (browns, oranges, creams, etc.)
The product itself took about 2 hours to put together and was relatively easy to put together after studying the picture. The parts seem to be of quality and the functionality of the unit is fantastic. For the swing there are at least six speeds and also several musical options. There is also a viration mode which I believe most people use when you lift the carrier out of the swing and use it as a bouncy. To power the unit you can either use batteries or plug it in with the a/c adapter which comes with it. All pieces arrived in perfect condition, shipping was quick, assembly easy and overall while the piece is maybe large for a nursery, it is perfect for a corner in the living room. Plus you can also take the carrier out and use the bouncy in another room. While you probably could spend less getting one or the other, this combo unit offers options for both swinging and bouncing and seemed pretty practical to me.

Great Swing,
This review is from: Graco Swing 'N Bounce 3-in-1 Infant Swing in Graham (Baby Product)
This swing/bouncer chair has been really great. The only problem that we have is the chair doesn't seem to fully lock into place into the base. My son seems to like the bouncing the best but you have to do this manually. I guess everything cannot be automatic. The strap system is a bit complicated yet holds him safely in the chair.
