We originally bought a shopping cart/high chair cover and I hated it! It completely didn't work in shopping carts and it did not work very well on restaurant high chairs. And the cover did nothing to keep my daughter's hands and mouth off the restaurant tables. This product is 100 times better for not much more money (esp. with the free shipping). I figured out how to use this high chair in literally 60 seconds as I was rushing out the door to meet friends at a pottery painting place. My two friends did not have these and struggled to chase their kids all over the store while my daughter sat beautifully in this chair that clipped easily onto the table where I was painting. I didn't buy one of these initially because I was concerned about how secure it would be but now I have no worries -- it's quite strong and stable. The attachable tray is a huge bonus to keep hands and mouth off the dirty tables themselves. I can't recommend this product highly enough!

We use this chair as a regular high chair--no need to add one more bulky item to our kitchen. It clamps right to the table and is secure! I can drag our solid oak table around by holding onto this. Unlike other table chairs, this one has an open space between the seat and back, so cleanup in a breeze--just wipe the seat down and you're down. No need to disassemble and wash the parts separately. A must-have for every baby!!

I had this highchair with my daughter who is now 5. The only difference was the design. This was by far my favorite baby item that I owned! It can clip to any table (even those with a lip) with very little work. I loved that you can wipe the entire thing clean (no taking it apart to put in the washer constantly). It folds up and is very lightweight which makes it perfect to take to grandma's house or a restaurant. My daughter got to sit right up at the table and be a part of everything. It is incredibly sturdy (my daughter could dance/bounce around in it and I wasn't the least bit worried about it falling). After my daughter outgrew this I let a family member borrow it and never got it back. :( But I am going to buy a new one for my second child in a couple months. I would pay three times the price for this chair! I cannot give this product enough praises.

An absolute must for dining out. I have had one of these chairs for over four years and I have used it with both of my children. It is very simple to operate yet very secure. I love that it has its own tray so the I can just put food right down on it and the only germs he gets are his own. With the buckle you can strap the kids in and they can't go anywhere. I also love that the chair can go on the inside of a booth instead of stuck out at the end of the table in the aisle like a restaurant highchair would be. I have given this as a shower gift to several friends and family over the years and the reaction is always the same. They never thought of needing one but once they used it they could not do with out it. I cannot say enough good things about it, in four years of weekly use I have never had any problem with it. It is so easy to use (mine is so well used) that I can now operate it with one hand when necessary. I expect this chair will last through many more years of use. Worth every penny and then some.

Be sure to add this to your baby registry! All the great reviews are right on the money. Fits in the trunk of my mid-size car nicely even though I have a million things in my trunk. I am a critical reviewer but I can't find anything wrong with this chair. I love that it is easy to clean and the price isn't too bad either. If you are looking for a hook-on highchair, this is it!

We have multiple versions of this same chair and all we can say is "It Rocks!". While it looks a little "old school" and there are cooler looking versions out there, there are some huge selling points to this chair. One, it clips on quickly and is sturdy (no bounce). Two, it can be completely wiped down after each use (no cloth which is huge when kids are messy eaters). Three, the clip on tray. Who really wants their kid eating food directly off the table in a restaurant? And, the tray can go in the dishwasher, even better for clean up. Buy this chair!

As Grandparents, we wanted a high chair for our grandchildren's visits. Both of our kids had high chairs like this when they were young so we knew we wanted something similar. I cannot say enough great things about this chair. It holds securely to the table. Washes like a dream. Folds for easy travel. And I know it will last for many years to come. I don't think there is a high chair made that is more convenient.

A very sturdy, safe, durable, and compact feeding chair. This chair seems like it will last forever. We use it in place of a standard high chair because it saves space in our kitchen. I like the high cushioned back and seat covers. Very easy to clean. However, it will not work on glass-top tables or tables that do not have space for the chair's bars to slide all the way in. It's a bit bulky/heavy to take along to restaurants, in my opinion. However, the travel lite is a great little chair to have at home or for travel and well worth the price we paid for it.

This is one of the BEST purchasing decisions I've made as a parent. After my son used this every day for 2.5 years the only sign of use is some fading of the logo on the tray, and a tiny (.25 square inch?) white spot on the chair back where the printing rubbed off. We hung bibs from the back bars. We bought matching placemats to put under the arms of the high chair to extend the protected table space (for fork pounding, etc.).
However, it did NOT FIT ON OUR TABLE INITIALLY. Our table has about a 3.75" apron under neath that is 2.5" from the edge. We removed part of this apron and replaced it with a 1" thick one and the chair went on fine. It was totally worth the hassle of doing that. Someone said it was hard to fit the child in: it can be placed closer or further from the table, so its a bit adjustable, depending on what is going on under your table. There can be trade-off between space for chest/belly and space for knees.
For us, the TRAY was pretty hard to get on and off. We thought it would loosen up with use but it didn't. We didn't always take the tray off though. Sometimes we just whipped it down where it was. I wish we had filed down the plastic underside where it hooks on to the bars because it takes quite a bit to pull it off.

I sold my high chair and got this seat for at home for all of her meals. I previously had a high chair with wheels and I would wheel it away to clean the floor; unfortunately, the wheels went right over the food and made more of a mess. I love this chair because food falls right to the ground (where I put a drop cloth) and all I do is wipe the table and shake out the cloth. So much easier than cleaning the grooves of the high chair and the floor.

My only complaint is that it's a little difficult to get my daughter and and out sometimes. My daughter loves sitting right at the table with us, it's easier to interact at mealtime and feel like we're really eating a family meal.
