New Grade A Teak Shower / Bath Room / Pool Bench with Shelf

I shop on line all the time and have never seen such a poor packing job! This teak shower bench was simply placed in a large cardboard box, had a shipping label slapped on and tossed in the back of a truck for delivery. Not a single piece of packing material to keep the legs or top from torquing...which they did and broke. They may have well have tied it to the back of a pick-up and dragged it to my front door. BEWARE OF THIS VENDOR!

Similar to what other reviewers experineced, the bench came in a card board box with no packing materials at all. There was significant damage to the top of the box as if it had received a rough shipment, but the bench itself seemed undamaged so I accepted it and considered myself fortunate. After only two and a half months of light usage, the rear legs have become detached from the bottom shelf and the unit can no longer safely be sat on. Contacted customer service and they won't replace or repair after 30 days. I'm left to try and repair an obviously defective item on my own. Given the shoddy way the unit is shipped and the fact that they won't stand behind their product, I'd have to recommend to stay away.

I bought shower bench from Motogroup and legs were broken, no packaging at all, not even a single foam, Beware of seller Motogroup. My friend ordered same bench from WholesaleTeak, bench was packed in it's foam, no chance to break it and also very good quality. So be careful when you purchase this bench.

This is a good solid bench it's a little large for most showers but is good for outside a shower or near your pool or hot tub. Nice wood. the craftsmanship is a little commercial but nice.

I recently had the pleasure of ordering with Wholesale Teak. I was looking for a teak bench for my shower and originally decided on the larger Pool Bench with stainless steel handles. Unfortunately this was a little too large for my shower so I contact Wholesale Teak to return it.

Not only did they ask me great questions about what I was looking for, they immediately offered to send me a new bench (smaller) at no additional charge nor obligation to keep either. The new bench arrived shortly thereafter and fits in my shower perfectly. Wholesale Teak quickly emailed me a UPS label to return the origninal at no cost to me. They also credited me the difference of the benches.

I'm a happy customer and will buy from them again. Kudos to Ray and his great customer service skills!

Shipped right away but be prepared for several hours of work oiling the teak wood before using. This bench also came with rust spots and scratches on the chrome and too much glue at the joints. I was able to get the rust off but the scratches and glue remain. Found out later that this item costs about the same through the manufacturer, Frontgate.

This is a very solid, very handsome product for your bathroom or spa area. It makes our bathroom look like a luxury resort spa. It ships unfinished, so I bought some teak oil and rubbed the whole thing down with some Star brite Premium Golden Teak Oil. It took about 45 minutes to get between all of the slats. It looks beautiful now. I uploaded some before and after photos to the customer images section so check them out and see for yourself.

I had absolutely no problems with their packaging and shipping. I was concerned at first because of the other reviews. Then when my items arrived, the outsides of the shipping boxes were damaged and torn up! (As did many of my packages this Christmas!) But the contents were unharmed with no marks or scrapes. It seems as if WholesaleTeak has learned from their mistakes and has improved their shipping practices. Based upon my results, and the quality of the product I will be ordering more items from them in the near future.

WE just remodelled our bathroom and made a walk in shower. This bench was the perfect addition to give it a real spa like feel.

Had bad luck on this order, the bench was in pieces, litterly fell apart! The good news is that the company stood behind the order and sending Fedex to pick it up immediately and will refund $. AAA company.

This is s very sturdy bench. It fits perfectly in any bathroom with its neutral wood grain. I am very impressed with the workmanship
