GradeSaver, if used to assist a struggling literature student, falls short of the mark because it does not simplify text as much as I had hoped it would. I could not assign any part of it for student study since the vocabulary was above the reach of student. In some ways the multiple-choice quizzes at the back of the book was helpful to alert the student to areas that needed to be studied. However, since the quiz questions had no reference of chapters or page numbers to go to for review, taking quizzes ended up to be a waste of time.
