I am a graffiti photographer, and this book has been a main resource for interpreting graffiti so that I don't promote gang or violent activities. I focus on train graffiti, but learning about the criminal angle of graffiti helps considerably. While understood that graffiti without permission is a criminal act, there are so many talented artists that produce graffiti, and it would be great to redirect some of this amazing talent to more productive means.
Great book with detailed information written by men that obviously have researched and utilized this information in their own daily lives.

This book was very helpful in my class. It gives you a better understanding of Graffiti and what to look for when you see it on trains and buildings. It is a form of art , when it is not used in the gangs content.

This clown doesn't know anything about Graf! Leave it alone. If you want to know about Graf, talk to a writer!
