As Alene shares her story and Rick(a homeless man) shares his story; God's purpose begins to unfold. This book was eye opening and lovely. A challenge for all of us to step out and let God lead our lives, even when we are uncomfortable! A MUST READ!!

This was an easy and inspirational read. Alene's Graffiti: scribbles from different sides of the street, shows how two people that live very different lives have the same goals and purpose...God's purpose. God loves all His children. He doesn't love us all the same but uniquely different as we are all uniquely different. I found myself motivated while reading this book. Stepping out of our comfort zone is not easy to do. Alene shows us that when you listen to God's words He speaks His will upon you. Look past the differences in others to help them through whatever season in life they are going through. After all, without compassion where would we be today?

This was such an eye opener and reminder that we don't have to wait to serve "the least of these" till we go to Africa! A beautiful story of surrender to God's calling to ALL of us and a life that was changed.

Thank you Rick and Alene for your hearts and beautiful stories! Short and yet so challenging.

It's the story of God's call on a woman to step out of her comfort zone and follow His lead. A story of hope for those of us who have always wanted to show Jesus to people who are different, but just couldn't figure out how. Those of us who could never really get past the awkward of it. Alene and her friend Rick tell the story of God's purpose for the differences He allows. And they inspire us, the readers, to not only get past those differences, but to see them as beautiful. It's a good, quick read whose message will stick with you for a long time.

Alene's story about God leading her to step out of her comfort zone is inspiring. I loved the reminder that God loves all of his children...therefore we are blessed tremendously as we see His children as He sees them. This book is a quick read but is packed with powerful lessons. I will never look at Graffiti the same way again!

Creating change in culture and in mindset does not always require trillion dollar empires: complete with self-help books and accessory line. Sometimes it can be accomplished by the sheer act of looking across the street and seeing into the heart of another human being. This truth shines through this easy and straightforward read by Alene and her friend. Both voices add to the overall story being told, and both lives certainly add to the overall state of humanity.
