This is nice medium weight chip board. It's actually .057 inches (1.45 mm) thick. For reference a penny is .061 inches (1.55 mm) thick.

It's white on one side and kraft so you can use either side depending on your liking. I also use it wrapped with paper as a mini serving tray for small appetizers. Holds up well for this application too.

At the time of purchase I paid $8.79 or .35 per board. Locally, I can only get it in packs of 6 for about $5.00 so it was definately a bargin for me to order it on amazon.

I used it on my Cricut die cut machine with a new deep cut housing blade. I used the following settings recommended by Provo Craft.

Provo Craft states:m Chipboard (0.059"/1.50mm thick) with the recommended stettings of

Speed 3 (medium)

Pressure 4 (high)

Depth 6

Multi Cut 5

Will definately purchase more to make mini books in the future!

I needed to make a few chipboard scrapbook mini albums for gifts. I could not find any chipboard locally. This is a great quality chipboard already cut into 6x6 pieces! I was able to distress ink and punch holes using my crop-a-dile. Very pleased with the quality and price of the chipboard.

I bought 2 sets of the white, and 2 sets of the black. I used some of the black to make a mini album for Halloween. I'm happy with the quality; thin, but strong. I easily bound the pages with my Zutter bind it all. Just don't make the mistake I did. Because the pack said 6"x6" I started to pre-cut some of the paper to save time. However, I found out that the board is just a hair over 6". I'd say about 1/4" , needless to say the paper I cut was too short. Fourtunately, I was able to cover the mistake by hiding in the binding, and cover the other one with a piece of paper and making a pocket. Would buy this again.
