This desk looks very sleek and professional, and it is quite sturdy. I've had it for 3 months with daily use and there have no issues with the build quality and overall, I'm satisfied with the desk.

The only issue I have with this desk is the height where I have to place my keyboard since there is no slide out keyboard tray. I have had to raise my chair to its highest point in order to have my elbows level with the keyboard so that I can comfortably type. However, because of this height I've had to additionally purchase a foot rest to use which has taken strain off of my legs and to make it much more comfortable (I am 5'6" but suspect that you'd have to be 6'+ for this not to be an issue). Because of this footrest, I'm more immobile than I'd like to be and I have to stay in a particular position to remain comfortable - I can't push back my chair and lean back without it being a hassle. Even if I did buy a separate keyboard tray and installed it, lowering the height of my chair would cause my monitor to be too high causing neck strain - the top of the monitor is supposed to be at eye level. It's also rather inconvenient that I have to lower my chair to push it in so that it fits cleanly underneath the desk when I'm not using it. In addition, while the faux granite top looks nice and feels nice, it's extremely smooth and my wrist pad rests tend to slide around a bit while typing - same with my mousepad, both which have rubberized material on the undersides that are supposed to prevent that sort of thing.

The storage space in the hutch is very useable. In the middle space, there is a perforated backing so that you can punch out a clean hole to feed wires through (if you want to run a cell phone charger wire to charge your phone in this space, for instance).

The desk is absolutely beautiful and extremely well made. The faux granite countertop is really gorgeous and looks authentic. The reason I give it only 4 stars is because two of the screws were missing upon delivery. No hardware stores carry this screw so we had to wait for a shipment from seller, but customer service was very professional and is was an easy process. I'd definitely recommend! Price is outstanding for such a wonderful piece of furniture.

I don't know if I got a bad batch, I never write reviews, but this desk was a nightmare to put together, and it fell apart. The instructions are good, but the wood is cheap and the screw system they use is not right, the holes were also not lined up or drilled in the wood correctly on multiple pieces, just a waste of money, look else where...

I was looking for a desk for the Mrs. and cam across this one. I researched it all over the net and saw that it was running between $300 and $400 most places delivered. It went on sale and I used a coupon to snag it for a mere $135 at office depot(and free delivery to my local store). This is not your average quality particle board desk, the faux granite top is extremely nice the drawers, cabinet use high quality adjustable hinge's and rails. This desk is solid and heavy. Like other reviews it would have been very difficult to put together alone and took me 2+ hours with a friend. Some parts were not labeled but easy enough to figure out. Also the desk was so heavy(170 lbs) that I had to take some parts out to carry the box inside.

I bought this desk from office depot about a year ago-and the other reviewer is right- it is way overpriced on amazon so beware. About four months ago the front part of the bottom drawer came off when i tried to open it. I was disappointed that it broke and it was fairly new. I waited until today to call for a replacement part as I didn't think they would give me one as i threw away my receipt and instruction book. I can say i have never had a better experience with a customer service department then i did today. Sandy answered the phone right away- no annoying phone promts- and she got my the replacement part no problems, sent UPS and will be here in 2-4 days. For the price we paid we got a great quality product, but with even better service to back it up. It's a nice looking desk, and if i didn't overload the bottom drawer i'm sure it would have lasted longer, but even so, this desk deserves 5 stars because of the company and they way they handled my call!
