A very nice visual history of the Grail legend,

Of all the books printed on the legend of the Holy Grail, this one has the best variety of artwork from the history of the myth. This book was also used by the prop makers of Henry Jones Sr.'s grail diary in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

I've wanted a copy of this book for years. I was so excited to get it. I read it straight through, amazed at how well and concisely the author covered the subject matter, not stooping to denigrate any one tradition or theory.
I do wish it was longer, though. |
