I have been teaching ESL to Hispanic farmworkers for 3 years. This is by far the best book I have looked at and used (and I've looked at a lot). The grammar and exercises are clear,there is a lot of good illustrated vocabulary (yes,pictures are worth 1,000 words) and I particularly like the 10 minute grammar games at the end of each chapter - fun things to do. The whole book is a wealth of lesson planning material. The book is Canadian so you do find "colour" for color and references to Toronto but that makes it all the more interesting to me and my students. I am looking forward to using Grammar Connections #2
