January 1, 2006 0439700701 978-0439700702
A motivating way to teach grammar in middle school and beyond. Lively lessons teach parts of speech, parts of sentences, tricky homonyms, and more. Students create a Personal Skills Record to monitor their errors and guide their proofreading. Includes a reproducible Decoder List that describes the common errors students make and shows how to correct them. This classroom-tested approach makes teaching and assessing grammar manageable for teachers and meaningful for students. For use with Grades 6 & Up.
