This book is very helpful for Toefl test-taker to understand the rule of English grammer. The first thing you have to do with this book is to take the simulated test of Toefl grammer section. After it, you can check the point of grammer that you don't understand.

But in TOEFL, it is *NOT* enough to understand grammer rule. You must be accustomed to finding what is questioned by the testers. So you have to practice with preparation kit published by ETS or other books simulating TOEFL test. The comination might be helpful for you.

Although a couple of geniuses might disagree, I feel compelled to advise them to take some grammar sessions especially with this book ,so they could learn that English must go with capital letters and must draw is not the same as mast draw, Obviously they do not know the facts about this excellent book. The flow chart style of this grammar book is the best I have ever seen so far. By the way I scored 280 on my second TOEFL test, from 240 on the first one. Cheers!! Go for it and get the book TOEFL takers ( if by any chance you are in Bogotá, Colombia. Take a few classes in Petersons Absolute Advantage. They are great for test preps, the best in Bogotá!! ) Cheers!!!!

This book is very good for structuer and there are a lot of structure poins with test.

When I bought this book in my mind was the idea that this book it should be as the "other ones". But,when I begun to learn I understood a lot from it helping me to organize and to express well ideas.This book is very comprehensive showing you the way how to get the highest score to TOEFL test. If I have to speak with the other people I will advice them to buy this book.It is an inestimable source of knowledge and for that you have to buy it if you want to take the TOEFL test.

First of all I must say - I have not used this book. I'm not going to either. I've read the review of the person that gave this book 4 stars and said it taught him grammer. Well... with the number of mistakes he had in that little review this book couldn't have been too helpful. Don't get me wrong, I'm not going against that person or try to belittle him (god knows my english if far from being perfect), however I do think that after going through a whole book dedicated to grammer rules one should be able to consruct a full present-simple sentence without mistakes. Since I do not believe people are stupid the only conclusion I mast draw - this book is not that good.
