If Your Looking for the Game Guide for GT 4 THIS ISN"T IT!! Product is Listed Wrong. It's Simply a Book on the Making of the Game(Who Cares?).

This is actually a 'behind-the-scenes' book, showing you what went into making GT4, and even a little history of the GT series and driving games in general.
This book goes into every aspect of the creation of the game, from photographing the sites and cars used, to the physics, to the graphics, sound and music, to the AI, to the finish. It also details a few specific cars that were replicated in the game. All of that along with commentary/interviews with the game's designers, you get a real sense of the passion these people have for driving, racing, and bringing it all to YOU, videogame-style!
This book is filled with beautiful photos, both from the real world and screenshots from the game, including side-by-side comparison shots of the real-world locations and their virtual counterparts. I've always loved the attention to detail they put into this game, and the photos show you just how much they did!

Who cares? Apparently not everyone, but I do. This is a great book. If you like the GT games and like to look 'under the hood', then I recommend you take a look at this book!

I was expecting the strategy guide, but I only got a book that is essencially the same thing as a behind the scenes dvd or a making-of... documentary. If I didn't love cars and Gran Turismo 4 as much as I do, I would have returned it and given it a 1, but it's still a cool book for whomever wants it. It details everything that went on with the series from the first game up to presently, but it is NOT a strategy guide.

Wow -- I love this game and I love this guide! The author did a great job showing every aspect on not only the game, but also how to win and be successful! It's exactly what I was looking for and ended up buying more than one copy for all my friends that play as well! Thanks =)
