4.0 out of 5 stars It has Illustrations by Angus McBride!
This is a good sturdy effort about the conquest of the Last Muslim Kingdom in the Iberian Peninsula by the Combined Crowns of Spain. But is the Late Angus McBrides Illustrations that makes it (The Book) worthy of buying!

3.0 out of 5 stars Nothing new but well worth the reading
It's not exactly an introduction into the whole 'reconquista' issue but rather concluding remarks focused on the betrayal of Granada, the last remaining Muslim enclave in the Iberian peninsula.

But it's worth the reading for it clearly shows the advantage of Spanish artillery and the disadvantage of Muslim disunity. Read other books on the similar subject first...
