5.0 out of 5 stars The Grand Design By Paddy Mc Mahon, April 11, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: The Grand Design: A Simply-Stated, User-Friendly Guide to Living in the Universe (Paperback)
The grand Design is a book that is reassuringly sincere. I sought it out because I had a lot of questions about life and spirituality that had never been satisfactorily answered. In this book the author channels the Spirit entity Shebaka who speaks to us from a higher plane and quite simply tells us how it all works. How the Universe functions and how we, as humans, function within the Universe, here on Earth and on all the other levels of spiritual developement and awareness. The message of this book is peaceful, compassionate and loving. But most of all, it's message promotes the idea of being non-judgemental. I for one feel more enlightened after reading this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Opening a door, August 18, 2000

This review is from: The Grand Design: A Simply-Stated, User-Friendly Guide to Living in the Universe (Paperback)
I suppose many people go through life accepting that what they perceive through their physical senses is reality, and do not question their existence any further, through fear of the unknown. Reading Paddy McMahon's books in my opinion opens that door between the known and the unknown and allows us human beings to see ourselves from a wholly different perspective as spiritual beings in a physical body. It opens up a whole new outlook on life and helps take away the fear we all have of facing our death knowing that it is not the end.

As the original sceptic I find Paddy McMahons communication with a higher being to be wonderful read and even if at first you may not accept the writings, one will come back to it again and again and see it in a different light each time. It makes so much sense out of the confusion of our lives and seems to answer the questions of why we are here and where are we going.

If this is the way our life really is, then we have nothing to fear about our journey through it and beyond.

Read the books for yourself I know you will not be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simplicity, July 30, 2000

I have read a lot of "spiritual. inspirational" books over the years and none have ever come close to answering my questions as this book has. The interesting thing about the book is even though I have found it of enormous help I find I don't have words to express all that it means to me other than the usual cliches which I have grown tired of. A truly unique book.
