I originally had to get this CD because of a the "Encourage Yourself" song that I heard on the radio. I dont know whats up with Ms. Beavers, but I love this CD. It just really spoke to me. This is a really good CD and it did my heart well.

This cd is so befitting for a time such as this. If your going to survive you must encourage yourself. You will find many times that it's just you and JESUS. I played this song until it got into my spirit, now it's not just a song but a true inspiration.

WELL FIRST LET ME START BY SAYING THAT THE SONG ENCOURAGE YOURSELF IS REALLY HELPFUL TO ME BECAUSE I LISTEN TO WHAT OTHERS SAY ABOUT ME NOT WHAT GOD SAYS I AM SO THIS SON MADE ME CRY THINK I LOVE THIS CD BECAUSE IT SPEAKS TO ME I REALLY RECOMEND THIS CD

Wonderful CD Tri City Singers farewell concert live in Atlanta.
It is inspirational and foot tapping. Recommend any of their work.

It was all that I expected & more. If you are looking for inspiration, confirmation and uplifting for your life, this is it.

...so I can't be entirely disappointed because I knew when I bought this that I may not like the remakes of Donald Lawrence classic songs. I was right! I didn't like the remakes of SEASONS, WHEN SUNDAY COMES and I wasn't really impressed with the new songs as much. I bought this CD for one reason and for one reason only--to play ENCOURAGE YOURSELF lead by the dynamic vocalist Sheri Jones-Moffett 50 million times. When it heard that song for the first time in my car, I cried. There's only one other gospel tune that had that effect on me upon first hearing and it's Marvin Sapp's Not the time, Not the place from his 1997 Grace & Mercy album. Could I have saved money by just buying the ONE tune on I-Tunes? Yeah but with Amazon's low price,(read..USED) I still came out ahead by a few bucks. IT'S YOUR TIME featuring a Luther Vandross sounding male vocalist will eventually grow on me. But I have to say it creeps me out a little because I'm thinking my beloved Luther has passed on and to hear a Mr. Darwin Hobbs sing in the style of the former R&B singer again is little discomfiting--ESPECIALLY in a gospel tune. This I'll need to pray on.
