This review is from: Grand MP3 Player - MP3 Player with SD Memory Reader (Electronics)
I bought this mp3 player in order to play mp3 files recorded on SD cards. When I try to play them using this player it is OK unless I try to fast forward or reverse. The player then gets "stuck" and I have to turn it off and on again. It also stalled a few times when starting up. I emailed customer service and got no response. I called customer service (very nice to talk to) and was told that I should try recording at a higher speed on the SD cards (I use a recorder that records as slow as 32Kbps) I increased the speed to 192Kbps and it got stuck a little less often, but it still happened. Since my files are about 1 hour long and you have to start over at the beginning of the file every time (no memory of where you were) this player is no help to me. It might be OK with shorter files. It's just that there should be some information that says what speed the files must be and a size limit since these are issues. The policy for returns/exchanges with Tiger Direct (that's who I purchased through) make it not worth it when I may just end up with another player that doesn't do what I need. It looked great, but 32.00 is a lot for what is now just a card reader for me! I considered the Lexar reader/player but read that it was also unreliable on playback, so I guess it's necessary to purchase a more expensive player for this purpose. Try this one at your own risk.

Nothing but problems. The first transmitter was defective. The manufacturer was non-responsive. The replacement transmitter worked but the quality of the video was unacceptable (very blurry) and the transmitter-receiver link was inconsistent, even after trying all the frequency combinations. This product should be removed from the inventory.Ultimate Wireless Dos/linux/macmsd/pwr/95/98/w2k/wme/nt Grandtech

I have two other types of small SD MP3 players and this one was the only one that gave me trouble in getting it to work. I am going to stick with the MyMusix from now on.
