It is rare that I love every piece on a CD. This is the exception. Amazing and beautiful. I highly recommend it. I have bought this many times for a gift and every single recipient has loved it,also!

Discovering Narada was a mistake. It happened last Christmas. For the holidays I always rake in a handful of giftcards, but this year I had recieved a BestBuy card and had never been there before. After a few unproductive hours wandering the store, I found myself in the New Age CD section. I had never heard of Narada, but the case had a piano on the front and the titles on the back listed seemed worth listening to, so I purchased it. This CD blew me away. It was exactly the type of music I was looking for. Some pieces endeared themselves to me more than others, but as a whole, it was a perfect collection, and since then I've dilligently snatched up as many Narada CDs from my new favorite composers. From Michael Gettel's "Prelude: First Snow" to Whalen's "The Shape of Her Face" I was completely captivated. The songs on the first CD seem solely piano, whereas the second CD has a few songs with minor instrumental accompaniment. I think Narada picked an excellent assortment for anyone new or familiar with their New Age artists.

Well, I've put it off for too long and I'm finally stealing the time to give my two cents' worth. I've had this collection for quite some time, and it is just lovely! It is perfect for relaxing and massage, or just to melt your cares away. Bradley Joseph's "Stray" is probably my favorite out of all, but they are all great and wonderful artists! I'd like to hear more of all of them!

I got this CD as a Cristmas present, and I love it! I was overwhelmed at the Blue Ridge Part 2 song, but that isn't the only song I have listend to on it; all the others are good and you should't concentrate time on one song. If you buy only 1 CD in your lifetime, it should be this one.

A good intro to New Age piano music,

With music somewhere between classical romantic and easy listening, this CD is a good introduction to New Age instrumental music, specifically solo piano. The collection is from various Narada artists and if you already have Narada piano CDs, you don't need to add this to your collection.

I'm sure Narada could've come up with a better anniversary album than this.Other than Lanz's "Summer's Child" and the tender and romantic "The shape of her face" by Michael Whalen there is not much else that is especially memorable. This is a good background music if you play it at a level where you almost can't hear it.Not exactly the reason you buy an album,is it?
