Teton NP Photo Book - It's Okay,

The book is okay. Quality of photos is good. The book is not up to date for use with a Digital SLR Camera. This photographer used a Minolta film camera which is okay but do not expect to learn how to use your digital camera from this book. I would recommend the book as a companion for a traveler who has other books on the Teton NP. The book contains minimal information on the Teton NP but it does give some good information on the location where each photo was taken from so I do recommend the book as a travel companion if you are interested in taking photos of your own, but not for setting any camera settings on a digital SLR camera. This is not a "how-to" book and the author states that and assumes the reader will be an experienced photo shooter with their own camera. A bit pricey for what you get but if you want this author's photos of the Teton NP then purchase the book.

Already owned a copy and bought one for my Grandmother. She loved it, and will probably never actually see these places, so it is a great way to visit because the pictures let you go there in your mind. Yes, they are really that good.

A book chock full of beautiful photographs featuring our nation's premier mountain range, The Grand Tetons. It's not the biggest, longest or highest mountain range in America, but it well may be the most beautiful! The eastern escarpment of this magnificent mountain range rises up out of the valley unobstructed by foothills. A rarity in mountain ranges. And this book does a great job of showng off the magnificent vistas in this National Park. I was raised in Wyoming and made many trips to the Tetons, and I loved every one of them! I am very familiar with this Park and I can assure you that this book does it justice. I don't know how they can offer such a beautiful book for such a small price.
