To start out: GTA SA is one of the best games I've ever played. I beat the game years ago and STILL play it on a daily basis.
I recently got a new computer with Windows 7 on it and had a few problems getting it to start. After hours of googling and tons of dead-end leads and failed atempts I finally got it working:

It is important to run BOTH the setup.exe AND the game launcher in Compatibility mode (Windows XP SP3).
(I had been problem-solving with an install that wasn't run in an Windows XP shell.)

This has to be one of the greatest games of all time.....I made a mistake when I sold my xbox and this game...I never knew that years later I would be at it again. GTA:SA is very broad; the map is broad and the game is long,you can learn new fighting styles, get haircuts, buy clothes, mod cars, race cars, have gang wars and fight for turf, make your own radio station with songs from your pc, ride almost anything from bicycles to four-wheelers to airplanes to tractors, go skydiving, run in marathons, and much more. There is a pretty nice selection of weapons to choose from. Multi-player is awesome. This game is also compatible with pc controllers so have at it!

i have played it so far 38 times and still love it just bought it again after i lost my last copy like year ago and still got excited when i got it it my fav out of all the other since there so much more to do and the music better and a pretty good story makes you love all the characters my fav is the truth that why i hope in grand theft auto 5 they bring back alote of the characters and to people with window 7 i have it the only thing it did was change my color settings to there basic level to run the game but once you are done with the game it changes them back automatically

Collectors eddition no cutts good game for fun. Make sure your video drivers up to date great Graphics. This was one of the first that was not edited all content exsists.

Need Better Controller Setup(XBOX 360 Controller)
Not sure about Playstaion but this game as back in the day same as usu.al

It is an awesome game I play it all day everyday. Highly recommend it to young adults or people who just want to have fun

The item came quickly and in prime condition. It is a great game to relive or play for the first time.

Remember folks, this is a simulator. DO NOT DO WHAT YOU SEE IN THIS GAME IN REAL LIFE.

Now with that legal disclaimer out of the way, here is my review: While I enjoyed driving around the State of San Andreas, it's too bad that some lawyer with nothing better to do cried like a little baby and made Rockstar neuter the game (called "Cold Coffee" by fans) - the one reason alone it doesn't get a 5 star rating. You start life in Los Santos (Los Angeles) having been release from prison. You're picked up by a couple of crooked cops who take you to your rival's turf.

Fans who want the "goods": This is the "Second Edition" which makes your coffee cold :(
Gameplay? It takes a moment, but it's a blast once you're used to the controls. Highly recommended for the 18+ crowd who are mature and responsible about things.

Parents: This is NOT for the kids. There's a reason it's rated M for Mature.

I`d heard a lot of GTA, so i decided to start with this one, and i had a lot of fun. Is like play oblivion iv, but in a contemporary enviroment. The only things i hated are 1 or 2 mission, that are so hard to overcome!, but still, i put this game a 8+.

The good thing about this addition to the pc gta games is that there are thousands of mods you can put in...by mods i mean car mods where the perennial the little POS station wagon go online and look for a Honda crx to replace it then thats what WILL come up every time you drive by what would be a perennial
