Wow, great value!,

Obviously, I don't need to explain GTA3 and GTA Vice City, because at this point, everybody has at least heard about them. Well, I shouldn't need to say this either, but both games are fantastic. If you have a PS2, and you don't have either game... first off, what the hell else were you buying when these were out??? Well, that's okay, because now, you can get them both for $40 (which is two-fifths of the total price I paid for both). So if you have a PS2, and still don't have either game, GO GET THIS BUNDLE PACK. 'Nuff said.

Listen Hear Parents!!!!!,

First of all, this is of course a game of its time. No person with a PS2 should be with out it.Now, to get the Mature rating and those parents who are "protesting" this game. THIS GAME IS NO WORSE THAN A PG-13 MOVIE!!!!!! Let me explain: 1)If you look on the back, it says rated M for strong language, which includes sh**, a**, and no worse!! You are lieing to yourself if you think a PG-13 movie has none of those sware words in it. 2) Next, it receives an M rating because of its strong violence, which I won't lie to you, is strong. However, the violence is more cartoonish than realistic and I know for a fact that there are more gruesome images to be seen in PG-13 movies. 3) Now, for those of you feminists out there: You are most likely concerned with the partial nudity, notorious hookers, and so called "degrading" manner the game has towards women. (note degrading is in quotes because it's not true!) However, this game contains no such scenes of pornography that are so often considered indecent. There ARE girls in bikinis in this game, OH NO!!!! If some of you mothers or fathers are trying to shield your childeren from this degree of partial nudidty, you are not doing a good job as a parent. The nudity seen in this game is seen every summer day on almost any beach across the United States. And, YES there is a hooker scene which shows NOTHING at all, but is animated by a rocking car. Now many of you will be questioning my ignorance at this point, but here's where I'm going to question yours. Now, for those of you who have let your childeren see a PG-13 movie, your childeren should be able to play this game!! PG-13 movies today show tons more partial nudity than this game, there are semi-nude sex scenes in PG-13 movies, strong language in Pg-13 movies, and most of the time, there is a lot of violence in PG-13 movies. Grand Theft Auto is no worse than a PG-13 movie!!!!! And many of you will be saying, "Well yes, but the difference lies in the fact that you are not watching GTA but instead playing it!!" And to this I leave you with: You all know your own childeren better than anyone. If they are constantly violent and getting in trouble, you're right, they don't deserve this game. But for those of you with good, normal kids, I think they can handle it.

I got this for my birthday off my uncle! Heres my game summary
GTA 3 Plot:You've been betrayed and left for dead. Now you're taking revenge, unless the city gets you first. Mob bosses need a favor, crooked cops need help, and street gangs want you dead. You'll have to rob, steal, and kill just to stay out of serious trouble. Anything can happen out here. Verdict: Fun but not as good as GTA Vice City which I play more but I play this when a mission gets boring on Vice City so its percentage is 83%! I normally just mess about on this one. GTA Vice City Plot:Our "hero" is Tommy Vercetti (voiced by Ray Liotta), a gangster just out from a long stint in lockdown. Working for the Forelli family, Tommy is involved in a shady business deal that goes horribly wrong. So begins his quest to regain money, power, and respect in Vice City. Verdict: Awfully fun! I feel sorry for my mate who bought Vice city and it broke after just 2 days! He had to take it back! I love this and motorbikes are fun and I love hitting people with my Baseball Bat outside of missions. Basic compared to San Andreas (I dont have it but I borrowed it off my mate)but fun! the hammer I also love using! It also takes my parents back to the 80s! the percentage is 98% I have something to say before my conclusion! This game aint as violent as everyone says and heres why: 1. Language is only words like s**t and a** 2. The violence is strong yes but its more cartoony than realistic 3. Sex is in it but its only a car rocking 4. Nudity is included but it's only semi nudity no worse than what is on a beach on a hot day. So parents I'm 12 and my verdict for you is if you're child is sensible, doing well in school and not violent let them have it but if they r not sensible, doing rubbish in school and violent say no so if they r sensible let them play it! Conclusion: Great and 2 great games for a good price and you wont have to buy another game for a while because it will take a while to finish the 2! Buy now and San Andreas as well! Peace out people! First off, these games are incredible. Perhaps the best Action RPGs I've ever played, with a really dark/sarcastic sense of humor. If people don't understand that the games are satirical, they probably shouldn't be playing them... The excessive violence is humorous sadistic fun.
That being said, I cannot believe that these little kids are coming on here and spouting off the ridiculous things they're saying. Sorry, you little brats, you should not be playing these games, nor am I interested in your opinions or justifications for doing so. I was absolutely dumbfounded by the 12 year old who posted something like "there's female nudity in this game, and that's bad because it makes parents react negatively to the game." If you think nudity is the most offensive thing in this game, you're completely oblivious... and if nudity is what it takes to alert parents to the simple obvious fact that children should not be playing this, then thank god for the nudity. Forget all this silly controversy over the new game's Hot Coffee mode... These games SHOULD be rated Adults Only to begin with... Parents!!!!: This is a game where your character can have sex with a hooker, then beat her to death to get your money back. Then you can use that money to buy a gun and go kill some cops. You can kill innocent old ladies for kicks and go unpunished for it. You can enter a code that makes the game more violent, so that spraying people with your machine gun will make their arms fly off and their heads explode. You can block a highway with your abandoned car and then climb up onto a hill with a rocket launcher and start blowing away the traffic that piles up. You can climb up to the top of a tall building and take out innocent pedestrians with a sniper rifle. Your character will be employed by members of the Mafia and Yakuza, and he will be involved in drug smuggling and weapon trafficking. In this game, the police are your enemy. This is a game that rewards you for committing heinous crimes, and it's an absolute blast unlike any other game out there... DO NOT BUY THIS GAME FOR YOUR KIDS! DO NOT LISTEN TO YOUR CHILDREN WHEN THEY TRY TO CONVINCE YOU TO BUY IT FOR THEM! There are few things short of hardcore porn that I would say are more innapropriate for children. You should be AT LEAST 17 to play this game. Of course these little kids are trying to say that it's ok for children, but come on! They love it because its insanely fun! Video games are NOT just for children anymore, and this game makes that blatantly clear. It's a great step forward for this medium as a valid artform, but it's also dangerous for parents who don't pay attention and assume that video games are just for children.

If you don't own these - WHY NOT?!,

You have a PS2, but you don't have the game that pushes your system to it's limits, will suck weeks from your social life, and is the most fun ever? Well, now you can fix all that. If you never bought GTA3 or VICE then this is your chance. What really makes both of these games great are: - Open ended: go where ever you want, do whatever you want. In this way it's more like a toy that you can play with and make up your own goals. Also, if you ever owned a Commodore 64 then you HAVE to see the startup screen for Vice City :-)) As others have said, this is not a kids game, it is for mature teens and up. It has a rating, use it. HINT: To steal a cop car, try to open the passenger side door. When the cop jumps out to nab you, try the door again and it's yours. Also, search the net for cheats, these are fun. But don't save your game with some cheats, it could make it unbeatable. Just for fun: Play tag with the cop cars. Or, stand on top of a truck and toss grenades into traffic without falling off.

i strongly disagree with the above review. although most of the missions may be completed in two weeks, if you play the game nonstop, there are still literally thousands of things to do and places to explore that still exist. for instance, there are about 20 different side missions that are in no way related to the plot and are simply fun. this game stays interesting and exciting for way more than two weeks, sorry dude, but you are way off.

Two Classics for the Price of One,

What can be said about the Grand Theft Auto series? That hasn't been said before. Well, not a heck of a lot.First of all, this is one of the best deals to come along in a long time. These games alone are the reason to own a PS2, and provide some of the longest gameplay sessions in recent memory. Let's break it down. GTA III: With GTA III, Rockstar Games gave people a giant, shiny, macabre, funny toy to play with. There's a whole world in here, and it's ripe for the picking. Hookers, gangsters, cops, robbers, grease monkeys, and innocent pedestrians; all are there to populate and color this world. This is a crime simulator, and crime most certainly DOES pay here. It's also damn fun. GTA - Vice City Rather than offering an upgrade to the blockbuster GTA III, Rockstar crafted an acid-washed, neon-soaked, 80's gangster epic with equal parts Scarface and Miami Vice thrown into the mix that was created for the previous game. Tommy Vercetti, a jailed man just freed, is set up by the mobs of Vice City, and now is in a fight for survival, and control. Take the free-roaming gameplay of GTA III, add more vehicles, more city, more people, smarter AI, more weapons, and a whole lotta hair metal, and you'd be close to getting a bead on Vice City. This 80's inspired masterpiece of gameplay, story, and style stands as a hallmark of the series, and of action games everywhere. You'll not only turn wheelman, but you'll buy property, earn money from the city's drug trade, get yourself a mansion, and even some minions - I mean, comrades in arms. What was good in GTA III is better, slicker, prettier, faster, and funnier in Vice City. It's a brave new world. It's up to the gamer to make the most of it. It's funny really. There were two games in the series previous to the megahit that was GTA III, and yet, despite that these are the same concept, gameplay, and focus that the sequels expand on, it was only with the realease of the more realistic 3D games that all the noise was made about more violence in vidya games being bad for youth. Realism can be dangerous, but the claim that violent games make violent people is unfounded and lunatic. There is a fundamental difference between the digital and the real, and it's up to parents to make sure that children understand where the line is. Besides, that's what the rating system is for. "M" games are NOT for kids, any more than "R" rated movies are. Amazing how logic can be so easily sidestepped in the name of moral outrage. In either case, these are gems not to be passed up. Bargain price, classic gameplay, great stories, and the most replayability this side of. . .well, anything really. There's more than enough violence and mayhem for anyone to really enjoy living on the wrong side of the law. Just remember, save before you quit.

GTA3 revolutionized what a game is, if you haven't played it, then you haven't played a real game. Think GTA3 is cool, but missing a few things here and there? Enter Vice City, with motorcycles, seaplanes, and 80's hits on the radio, it continues where GTA3 left off in a sweet locale with just as in-your-face missions as before. The only negative to getting this as a bundle is not being able to appreciate how groundbreaking GTA3 is and seeing all the things you wished was in it be put in Vice City for your pleasure. Just make sure you play GTA3 before you take on Vice City-think of it as boot camp preparing you for the streets of Miami

Grand Theft Auto saved me from stopping playing video games since every game now sucks, but this one doesn't I mean it has everything for a game killing, bad words, prostitues, mafia, cars, weapons, and more. The Double pack comes with two GREAT games GTA3 which is my favorite because it's dark and addictive ,The other is GTA Vice City which is also fun because it's more lifelike then GTA3 but thats the point they both have two different atmospheres. Both Games are very long which is good because once you play it you won't want it to end, and don't buy this for your kids because their are a lot of Stupid parents out there that buy it and wonder why there kids are acting so bad. Otherwise then that A MUST HAVE SO BUY IT NOW.
