In the editorial review it mentions that you cannot save during a level and that you have to use your windows key to get back into windows to work unless you want to spend a few hours at a time on the game. This is completely untrue. While you cannot save during a mission, you can save during a level. Missions can be short or long but once you complete one you can save. I have little faith in the reviewer for not realizing that saves are achieved by going to a designated save location in the city... after completing the first mission you learn this. He must have been looking for a menu save option that does not exist and apparently did not spend a whole lot of time actually playing this game.

Grand Theft Auto, while morally wrong, is an incredibly fun game. I will never get sick of this game because it's so simple. The series only gets better with GTA2 and the latest and best of all GTA3. This games simple 2D graphics make it seem primitive, but it runs very smooth if you have it on the right settings. This game is the most fun game I've played in a long time, but a warning to parents; ultraviolence, swears, and sexual themes make this game unsuitable for the youngins.

This is a brilliant game, especially if you live a high-stress life. If you've always wanted to know what it's like to be a criminal but don't have the guts to actually try it out then this will allow you to feel what it's like to kill for the local Mafia don while still ferrying coffee and faxing letters at Spratt & co . And because of the cartoon-like styling it's unlikely to send any little ones towards the underworld. You can do anything you want to, which includes blowing up police stations, shooting rival gang members or just plain speeding around wrecking cars with the cops on your tail. Even better, if you've had a bad day at work, just come home, sit down in front of this and kill a few people. You'd be amazed how calming it is to take out your anger at the boss by setting fire to innocent pedestrians with a flame-thrower as they scream in terror and run away. This game is great. So my advice is to order it now, load it up as soon as it arrives, steal a sports car and have so much fun it's literally illegal!

i have had my pc for years and i have alot of games but gta is the best PC game that was EVER made.

You can just take any car you want an go for a joy ride. You can rule the sidewalks and runover anybody you want. You can run from the cops all you want too. In this game you can do just about anything. I never get tired of this game cause there is always somethin new to do in it. I hope you have as much fun playing it as I do.

I love the excitment of tryin to run over people, and out running the cops.The depth, and gameplay are great.This game is not made for kids or the weak minded.Grand Theft Auto 2 looks just as good,I can't wait to buy it

The game is a lot of fun , that I can't deny . However , a game that lets you commit crimes such as murder , ect...is strictly for older kids . I liked playing it and would love info on a sequeal.

It is an awesome computer game. You get to commit all kinds of crimes such as: carjacking, murder, hit and run, bribery, assault, and possession of illegal weapons.

This game is one of the best I've played. You can steal cars for points, and sell them for even more points. You can shoot cops, smash through road blocks, get car bombs, and 5 different weapons. You can even make buildings catch on fire! Very sweet game.
