where is the rest of it?,
This review is from: Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (Audio CD)
I love the game San Andreas and the music thats in it. Unfortunately the soundtrack is missing way too many good songs from the game. I can list about 10 of them from the top of my head. If you want this soundtrack as a collectors item then cool, get it. If this is something your actually going to listen to because you enjoy the music on the game then I can NOT recomend this soundtrack due to the fact that its missing a lot of songs, and in this case some of the better songs.

Solid Overall package,

This 2 CD/1 DVD set has a lot going for it. If you've played the game and/or like the era of early 90's music, then this is a solid buy for you. This features much of the music popular at the time, including hard-hitting rap (2Pac, Cypress Hill) and rock acts (Rage Against the Machine, Faith No More). But the soundtrack also ranges across the dial to include reggae and funk classics like Rick James "Cold Blooded" and James Brown's "The Payback," '70s rock, such as Eddie Money "Two Tickets to Paradise"; old-school hip-hop (Eric B. & Rakim's "I Know You Got Soul"). There were a few out of place numbers which include Ohio Players "Funky Worm" and Willie Nelson's "Crazy". But they don't devalue the overall package. I am most likely going to get the 8 cd box set which has a lot more solid tracks on it. This also includes a DVD that provides an introduction to the game.

It does have some of the best songs from the game IMO (Poison, Barracuda, Hood Took Me Under, Funky Worm) but also some of the not-so-cool ones (anything from Hans Obelander's station). The good outweighs the bad though, so if you don't already own the orginal songs, you can get this as a collection of early 90's music.

I thought the game play was a little hard when I played it before but we are talking about the soundtrack here so I will rate that! I liked the music in this game so much that I am giving this soundtrack 5 stars! the highest rating! I hope people like it as much as I do!
I LOVED 90s music! Go 90s!

This has a few good songs but is missing the best ones from the game. My advice is to save your money and get the box set.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andres Soundtrack,

Wow, this has got to be one of my worst cds in in my collection. After hearing the songs from the game while playing and liking most of it, they could'nt of picked worst songs for the mix. Don;t buy this album, it's terrible.

Not bad, not good nether.,

This is an ok Cd. It does addcacly as its apposed to, and captures the high lights in music for the game. The problem is that Rockstar and Interscope Records are just tryin' to get a bigger cash flow by adding a dvd to a cd that if you have the game, you've heard just about every song a millon times.
The Dvd its self is ok. It shows the events leading up to the game its self. I was a little let down here as I thought its would kinda tie together so plot holes and stuff in the game. But it did nothing of that sort and just ended up being somthing I think they should'a added to the game itself. So all in all,it's a good mix cd, but if you have the game itself this is somthing you might wanna skip.

Curious about a song...,

A friend of mine was recently playing some gta:sa and I was really enjoying the soundtrack. At one point he got into a euro sports car and it was on some techno-ish station that had a DJ with a german accent. The first song that came up was this techno/bass driven song that I know I've heard before but I can't quite seem to remember who it's by... Just wondering if anyone could help me out, I'm dying to know.
