If you're considering getting one of the great Grand Theft Auto games, just buy this one! For $10 a game in its original case with manual/map and all, why not get it? Grand Theft Auto games have always been bestsellers. Why? Well, here are some common features that these games share:
*brilliantly, realistically designed cities, country, and oceans
*free roam across miles of terrain
*combination of a shooter, role-playing game, free roam, and movie!
*intricate, realistic, twisting, dramatic storylines (Grand Theft Auto: Vice City's dialogue script is over 1,000 pages long!)
*beautiful graphics
You'll easily notice how these cities are designed after real ones (GTA III- New York, GTAVC- Miami, GTASA- California). With many different weapons, missions, just things to do, you can be entertained for ages with these plantinum hits. However, note that all Grand Theft Auto games have blood, violence, and language. Vice City also has nudity and gore, and San Andreas also has sexual content and gore.

If you haven't yet experienced the Grand Theft Auto series for the PlayStation 2, this is a magnificent set. There is simply no other game that endows your avatar with this range of experiences and achievements.

In every year of their release, these games placed first in U.S. video game sales. So yes, there are plenty of used copies floating around the GameStops and EBGames of the world, but typically in dismal shape... plunk down less than $10 apiece for brand-new discs and instruction manuals, and give yourself (or someone you care for) the absolute king of open-ended action gaming.

I won't go into detail about the games themselves here since there are likely much better reviews under the individual listings of the games. What I would like to say is that the packaging is very nice. Each game comes in it's own case as originally sold, and the set is packaged as a box set. The games include manuals, maps, etc.

If you liked any of the 3 games and haven't tried them all, this is a great deal. Under $30 for 3 great, open-ended, high-replay-value games is hard to beat. If you were to buy all 3 games at PS2 Greatest Hits prices, you would likely pay $40-60 for all three.

This is the best pack I've bought from Amazon although I only wanted San Andreas but why not try the ancestors? Found out, every one in the pack is AWESOME!

GTA III: Set in liberty city with a new york city-like background as the FIRST 3-D Grand Theft Auto game.With cars,motorbikes,trucks,vans,boats and helicopters(not sure about helicopters), Go for it!

GTA Vice City: In mid 1980s, this story takes place after Victor Vance was killed and you play as Tommy Vercetti, sent by his boss Forelli from Liberty City. If you like places not too big and places with a Miami background which is GLAMOUROUS. This should be it

GTA San Andreas: 1992, Carl "CJ" Johnson returned from Liberty City to Los Santos for his mother's funeral. This game is AMAZING & AWESOME like hell man you get the biggest area: A STATE with three cities which have the backgrounds of: Los Santos( Los Angeles), Las Venturas(Las Vegas) and San Fierro(San Fransisco) with jetpacks planes boats cars fast cars,you can't go wrong with this one.

Final Message: Buy this pack ASAP and you will never let a SINGLE stain or dirt on it!

Bought as Christmas gift for 14 year old, addictive & fun! Some explicit language & sexual innuendo but still fun, for parents & teens!

GTA series are probably the few games that made PS2 and PS3 what they are today. Imagine the PS2 ratings without these series! Those who owned the Xbox and the 360 always died a little inside when they would always come out for PS2 or PS3 first.

This is a MUST for all avid PS2 and PS3 gamers. If you do not have a GTA game in your library, your library is probably not worth looking at.

*CAUTION - I bought this trilogy pack because I gave away my GTA series to a younger friend. I tried continuing my progress, but with no success - this trilogy pack is a special edition and therefore is not compatible with the original. I didn't mind starting from the beginning because I love this game anyway. :)

getting three great games for under 30 bucks is great...its better than today's gas prices lol...the only knock is GTA III is so-so when compared to the other two games which deters some from playing that one on this disc

This is a fun series. Yes, the graphics are older, but you know the game. Why 2 Cautions?

Number 1: If you are a parent and considering buying this, you are NOT a good parent! This is Mature rated for a reason. DO NOT BUY FOR KIDS!

Number 2: This is why I am having to return it. This DOES NOT work for newer ps3 models. I was told it did, but only on the older models. I was told if you have 4 USB ports this should work. Well, I have only 2 on the front.

Just a caution for you if you have a PS3 only like me and no longer own a PS2. Great deal! Just watch when you buy.

I used to have all 3 of these games, but played them to death and traded them in. Well recently, I kicked myself for getting rid of them since I was hankering for some more of classic sandbox play I used to love and lots of good music on the radio while crusin on a stolen bike or in a car I just jacked at the corner. lol I missed being able to vent some stress and go on a rampage too. = So I ended up the other day buying the trilogy which was a great deal for all 3 games.

Yes the graphics are nowhere near as good as my new Saints Row 2 on the PS3, but that doesn't really bother me. They are still a blast to play. You can do missions or just explore...your choice.

GTA 3: Mafia type setting

GTA SA: Gang type setting

I recommend playing this trilogy all over again if you are an adult gamer who loved these gems in the past. adult gamer recommendation due to the bad language, violence, and sexual situtions in the games)

The price for the game is unbeatable! Its a sure fun way to keep busy for days and days playing the games.
