Fancy Stroller/Pram,
By aliceJW "AJW" (Wisconsin) - See all my reviews
This review is from: I'Coo Targo Pram - Marine (Baby Product)
I really like this stroller/pram, but is it worth the price? Here are the pros and cons I have found.
Pros - rides smoothly - is 3 things in one - stroller, pram, and car seat carrier - gives the option of having the child face me or face the way we are going - nice big basket below to carry stuff Cons - very expensive - to convert from stroller to pram is not easy - does not come with a sun shade or mosquito shade, the pram has a cover, but it's very thick, it seems more a winter accessory - stroller bar is not very easy to put on and take off - baby gets hot riding in pram and stroller Overall, I like it enough to not return it, but I am kind of disappointed that I didn't do more research before settling on this one because I think there are other stroller/prams out there that have the features I would want - closable air vents in pram, a better sun shade, and easier to convert from stroller to pram.

Very Disappointing!,
By Sofia's Mommy (Studio City, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: I'Coo Targo Stroller & Pram - Houndstooth (Baby Product)
We purchased this stroller mainly because we wanted to be able to see our 6 month old daughter and were not willing to spend $1000 on a bugaboo. Here is what we discovered.
PROS: 1. very sturdy 2. easy to handle 3. comfortable inside due to padding CONS: 1. bulky and heavy (and I have an SUV and it takes up almost the whole trunk). If you travel, there is zero room for your luggage. 2. not easy to fold and unfold, the latch gest stuck, too many steps to fold and unfold as you have to turn the handle inside, make sure the footrest is straight otherwise it stick out and you can see it in the rear vew mirror 3. wobbly when facing towards you 4. handle bar does not stay put and creates a potential hazard for the baby 5. buckle- if you are considering this stroller- hear me out on this one. it takes two people and a LOT of patience to buckle your baby in this stroller. THis is a 3 part process, during which you or the baby will be screaming from frustration (sometimes both at the same time). When you try to do the side buckles, the middle will come off and vice versa. 6. CANOPY is way too small. If you live in a sunny state (like CA), this is a no-go. As you recline the seat to put the baby to sleep, the canopy reclines with it leaving you baby fully exposed to the sun. THere is no blanket large enough to cover it, and frankly you shouldn't have to need one after spending $600 on a stroller! 7. no accessories- no cupholder or anything! Overall, we are VERY disappointed with this stroller. I have spend unspeakable amount of time researching the strollers, and am now considering Maclaren Grand Tour- excellent reviews, easy fold, light and reversible. And it has a HUGE canopy. Yes, it is $1000, but I am tired of fighting with Icoo for two months!

Good Stroller for the money,
By New Papa (Phoenix, AZ) - See all my reviews
This review is from: I'Coo Targo Stroller & Pram - Houndstooth (Baby Product)
Quality!! We bought the I'coo Targo (Mocha)for our daughter. She is due in April and I just couldn't wait to get everything ready. The stroller was easy to set up and is effortless to move around. I love the features of the Targo. My wife is petite and loves the height adjustment of the seat and pram, as well as the handle adjustment. I love the ease at wich you can change the seat with the infant carrier attachment. It does take a bit of time to convert from the pram to the seat, but I can't imagine changing that too often. The stroller is QUIET!
We bought the Chicco Key Fit 30 infant carrier and it fit the attachment just fine. We also bought the Prince Lionheart Click N Go Stroller Accessory System and it fit like a charm as well. We cant find anything about this stoller that we dont like...except the lack of accessories for it. We reasearched the Targo (as well as 20 other high end models)and do not regret buying it above all the other models. We completely reccomend this to anyone that wants a solid, well made, functional stroller that is well worth the money. 8 MONTH UPDATE: OK...so we have used this stroller for 8 months now and have really had the chance to use it. Yes...it still is a great stoller. HOWEVER!! It is not easy for my wife to collapse and expand. It does take up a lot of trunk room. One of the wheels squeaks and we cant figure out how to fix it. The canopy should be expand more to cover from the sun. There is no practical reason why it should not. The Bassinett option is nice if you child likes it. If not, then it is useless. So, its a gamble. Our baby hated it and would not tolerate it for longer than 5 minutes. Other babies seem to love it. No accessories for a $500+ stroller sucks. PROS: This stroller still is great and very adaptable. It is solid and quiet. Very agile and I can navigate through tight shopping aisles. The mateirals are top quality and easy to clean. Very breathable for our baby. Very adjustable to me and my wife. Best of all: Our baby loves the stroller! So, I still recommend it, just not wowed anymore. Dropped 2 stars on my rating.

CONS
Canopy is WAY too short, especially when you recline...sun shines directly in baby's eyes Canopy is solid...you cannot see the baby, needs a window Universal adapter....not quite. I have Graco Snugride 32 and it does not fit. The adapter is unusable. Rather large when folded up No cup holders No manufacturer accessories Cargo basket is very shallow....I do not feel that my items placed there are secure in any way. Difficult to convert from pram to targo...should be able to exchange one for the other without having to disassemble and then re-assemble using the same parts When in pram set up, cannot adjust to a sitting position When in targo set up and trying to recline, child's feet are higher than their head PROS SMOOTH ride Fabrics are well made and clean easily Adjustable handles Adjustable height Boot & rain hood

Happy Owner of I'coo Targo,

This review is from: I'Coo Targo Pram - Mocha (Baby Product)
I have been using this stroller for 9 months and so far, very satisfied with my purchase. I had been researching for 2 months for a stroller which was lightweight and was capable to use with my Graco infant seat, and this stroller had it. After using this stroller for 9 months, this is what I found:
Pros - Smooth ride and easy to steer even with one hand. - Its lightweight which is good when putting it in and taking it out of the car. - Seat is well padded and can recline into a flat position for my baby to sleep in. - Its quite compact, can bring it into restaurants without taking a lot of space. - Easy access to the basket. Cons - Canopy doesn't extend enough to provide good shade coverage. - Universal adaptor for infant car seat doesn't seem to be too secure (its just a buckle strap that keeps the car seat in place with the stroller) even though I've had no problems with it so far. - Its hard to snap the seat into the stroller frame at times, need to try a few times as the seat fabric gets in the way. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this stroller and would recommend buying this stroller if you don't want to spend big bucks on a higher-end stroller.

Preemie Approved!,
By
This review is from: I'Coo Targo Pram - Mocha (Baby Product)
Love it! Our preemie is safe and secure in our i'coo. Since Preemies are prone to apnea this stroller allows our baby to lay flat and keep her airways open. We actually keep her in the stroller in the house. It is so easy to keep an eye on her by rolling her in the kitchen when we are cooking and eating or in the living room when watching TV. I really love that we can remove the basket, that it can be adjusted to table height, and the adjustment features of the handle. At first I thought it was weird to have so many adjustments to the handle but it is a great feature and makes it easy to take the baby in an out of the stroller. The only down sides are I wish the basket on the bottom was larger and that there were more accessories available such as a cup holder and bug net. Overall I would definitely recommend this stroller, it is well worth the investment.

Problems after 9 months of use,
By
This review is from: I'Coo Targo Stroller & Pram - Houndstooth (Baby Product)
We were very pleased with our purchase of Icoo Targo and after only nine months of use, the wheel barrings (on the large wheels) collapsed, making the large wheels very wobbly (this is only in NYC streets, no crazy terrain here. We could not find anywhere customer support, the place where we bought it in NYC would not respond to our requests to put us in touch with the manufacturer (Schneiders). Luckily my husband is an engineer and pulled the wheels apart and they are back straight now. When he looked inside the barrings had completely disintegrated.
So if you are looking to buy a stroller of this calibre, please, do yourself a favor and buy the Bugaboo Gecko - same price, higher standard and quality. We have friends that have had one for 5 years now, 3 boys later and it has had absolutely no problems. When we where in the market for one the Gecko was not out yet and $900 for cameleon seemed too steep to us. - Well, cheap always ends up costing more.

Lots of defects in this stroller,
By
This review is from: I'Coo Targo Stroller & Pram - Houndstooth (Baby Product)
I really wanted to like this stroller and when we were using it with the bassinet I did. I actually used it as a bassinet in our bed room when the baby was little and it was great with our open floor plan. I could move the baby with ease when needed and the bed is actually really nice for sleeping (I wrapped it with a waterproof blanket and bassinet sheet to protect it). The problems started when my baby got heavier. I also started to notice other issues with it.
-The hinge by the wheel (you can see it in the pictures it's black) won't fully lock now for some reason making it very difficult to steer, which is the main reason I bought it. - All the parts move and don't lock which can make it frustrating to put it the car. i.e.- if you pick it by the foot rest it will bend up and be stuck there until you use both hands to push the buttons on each side to fold it back down. Hard to do when it is halfway in your trunk and you accidentally pulled on it. - The canopy is much to short and the sun was constantly in the baby's eyes - The little handle bar is very difficult to get on and off so we couldn't even use it until the baby was about a year - Pretty much everything is a two handed procedure - The back wheels are much bigger than the front which takes some adjusting to, for a while I was always hitting stuff in stores - You have to remove the whole seat to change the way the baby is facing, which turned out to be more inconvenient than I thought it would be - Overall I found it pretty rickety and flimsy I will say I found it pretty easy to fold/ unfold when it was working right. But one of the bolts fell out and even though we found it, it has be difficult ever since then. I hate to write a bad review for something, but since a lot of people are probably buying it with out seeing it in person I think people should know. If you compared it to other strollers side by side even new, you would see how rickety it is. We should have returned it when it came : (

Rides nice but overall just average,
This review is from: I'Coo Targo Pram - Marine (Baby Product)
I have the Rockstar Icoo Targo Stroller and have been using it for over a year. The three things I love about the stoller is the smooth ride, sharp turning radius and the look of the stroller. What I do not like about the stoller is: does not provide enough sun shade, the under basket is too shallow & things fall out, it is bulky to pack in the car, the shoulder harness seems unsubstantial and in the inside the sides have no padding for babies head to comfortable rest which I have to put blankets on while she sleeps. Overall I would not recommend this stroller. I would however recommend the Uppa baby stroller as a better match.

I'COO STROLLER AND PRAM,
This review is from: I'Coo Targo Stroller & Pram - Houndstooth (Baby Product)
I have been using my stroller for the past 2 weeks and I absolutely love it!!Yes I would definitely recommend buying it! Only problem is with the universal car seat holder.....it says it works perfectly fine with about 15 different car seats......including peg perego car seat but it really doesn't!!! that is the only flaw....but I did some adjustments to it...I added some extra straps which hold the car seat in the perfect place ...how it supposed to....I am even thinking about contacting the manufacturer and send them some pictures!!!
