This review is from: Grandma Moses (Hardcover)
This is a delightful book about the life and work of Anna Marie Robertson Moses. First Edition. First printing. Published by Harry N. Abrams, Inc. in 1973. Library of Congress Catalogue Card Number 73-6930.
ISBN: 0-8109-0166-8, with 357 pages, 253 large illustrations, 135 in full color, plus 1203 documentary illustrations. The book has been in my personal library since it was first bought, the same year it was published. It is square and flat. There are light surface rubs from other books and very slight yellowing on the rear surface of the jacket. The dark green fly leaf bears my Ex Libris label, and the title page has a raised seal bearing my intitials "MRS." Behind the fly leaf, on the dedication page, the paper has split down the binding crease and the webbing was exposed. I repaired the damage with heavy clear packing tape which should stand in good stead for 25 years or more. The pages are clean, bright, and in mint condition. m. schloss |
