I just love the ingenuity of the women of yesteryear. I have cooked a bunch of things from this cookbook and they tasted wonderful. The food was really tasty. It also contained recipes that I had not ever seen in regular cookbooks-things like crackers. If you are looking for a frugal way to cook, this is the book for you. I am so glad that I bought Grandma's recipes from the 20's ,30's, and 40's.

A friend had this cookbook, and I loved it. So I had to purchase for myself. This really has some great recipes. They use the classic ingredients and are full of flavor. If you are looking for a book with grandma's recipes, this really is the book for you
