REMEMBERING THE PAST....,
By M.L. (Oregon) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Grandmother Stories (Paperback)
I found this book of remembrances to evoke many forgotten memories of my own childhood. Doreen Bradley Satter's vivid descriptions of events and happenings made the book extremely enjoyable and easy to read. The reader could enter the author's mind and live the past along with her. There were many humorous times as well as thought-provoking incidences in her remembrances. This is a wonderful book for casual reading and the stories can be read over and over again with renewed enjoyment with each reading. I think "THE GRANDMOTHER STORIES" is a must for all ages, but especially timely for the 'baby-Boomers' who also grew up in the 1950's. It is sure to evoke many memories in any reader. This is a MUST READ book!
