Looking for a Bible with large print was my goal. I found this Bible and found the print to be easy for me, and perfect for my "old lady" eyes. I loved the quality of the paper, and it was strong enough to hold up to my Book Tabs. The leather cover is so soft, yet sturdy. When you hold this Bible it lays in your hands perfectly. If you lay it on your lap, it stays put and the pages will not fan-out on you. The colors are rich and there is a beautiful elegance to the look of this Bible. The devotional and commentaries throughout this Bible have been inspiring and heart warming. The little comments throughout the Bible, offering conversation subjects for us to talk with our precious grandchildren, with titles like, "Honesty" or "Jealousy" and so many, many more, with the verses listed for a quick trip to God's word to help you be a grandmother who cares about God being in the lives of your grandchilden is wonderful. I bought this Bible for myself 3-years ago. Then, I went back and bought two more and gave them to my beloved friends of over forty years. They loved this wonderful Bible, and it has become their special place for loving notes and even photographs of their grandchildren. And, what a blessing it is for us to have such a lovely Bible, that shepherds us to having not only the Word of God, but a wonderful aid to bringing the Word to our grandchildren. I HIGHLY recommend this book. You will not be disappointed, but will feel joy each time you look at it, and unconditional unlimited love of God and for your grandchildren. What could possibly be better? As a gift or as a purchase you make for yourself, this Bible is such a great blessing!

If you want to give a really special gift to a really special lady this is it. This Bible is beautiful, inside and out. It's a gift I think any Grandmother will cherish.

This is the most beautiful gift I have ever received. Not only is it the second new bible I have ever owned, it was from my two grandchildren. The design of the lavender leather binding and the inscription "Grandmother's Bible makes it truly a treasure. It is also in a larger print for us "Grandmas to read a little easier. I love it.

I gave this Bible as a gift to my wife for Mother's Day. She loves it.
It's large print is easy to read and it has nurturing stories scattered throughout that a Grandmother can pass along to her grandchildren as she teaches them about God and His amazing love for us.

I bought this for myself but it would make a wonderful gift! You actually focus on each grandchild one at a time for 2 weeks - praying for the child, reading the child stories, sharing His word, and even getting ideas on how to share His love with your grandchildren. I have numerous bibles and this is THE best - you can't go wrong with this bible for yourself or as a gift! And the price can't be beat here.

My daughter gave me this wonderful Grandmother's Bible for my birthday and I love it...I love the colors of the rich leather, the devotions, the place for a picture of my grandchildren, etc. It is something I will treasure forever!

This special gift was for my mother and my sister-in-laws. All are grandmothers. They have already started to read it and find it meaningful for their daily lives. I appreciated the writers that added their special stories and thoughts as devotions and encouragement to my family.

I received the Grandmother's Bible as a gift from my husband. I love it! The Bible is not only beautiful but easy to read as well. This is a gift that I will treasure for years to come. The Bible was even nicer than what I was expecting. I only wish that Zondervan made a similar Bible for Grandfather's.

I bought this Bible as a Christmas gift for my mom. I haven't given it to her yet, but she is going to love it! Along with this Bible being a great traslation (NIV), there are prayers for your grandchildren and also little dovotions that you can read with them. The questions are thought provoking and will help to draw any grandmother closer to her grandchildren. The cover of the Bible is BEAUTIFUL and I can't wait for her to open this gift!

I showed this to my Pastor's wife who teaches Sunday School and Kid's Church and she loved it! She is not yet a grandmother but she said, "This should be called the Sunday School Teacher's Bible! This is great! It already has mini-lessons in here!"

I recommend this Bible to any grandmother...especially if she is a Sunday School teacher!
