This review is from: Grandmother's Gift: Stories from the Anishinabeg (Native American Studies) (Paperback)
Those stories will remind you of your own grandmother if, like me, you were lucky enough to have a grandmother that told you stories of the past. But they will also allow you to discover the strength and the beauty of a nation, the Anishinabeg. And that you will find in all of Anne Dunn's books .

This seems like a children's book with extremely fanciful stories. It is hard to believe this is truly Indian lore.
