A Grandparent's Treasure Chest was a pleasure to fill out becase it enriched the time I spent with my grandchild but I also knew someday I would give it to them as a gift and that they'll be able to look back on it throughout their life. Many of my memoires and feelings will bring back memories for them years later so it keeps on giving. It really is a treasure chest of memories and emotions.

I am a single grandfather and have two young wonderful grandchildren and was givne this journal as a Christmas gift. I never wrote in journals before but after looking at the entries I saw how they involved life experiences all of us have and started writing as about my two young grandchildren over the holidays. I plan to fill a journal for each of my grandchildren and give it to them as a gift once they are complete. Its somehting they'll hAve long after I'm gone and will be a great way to rememebr me.

I've been writing in this journal for two years now and have loved it. I gave the completed journal to mmy granddaughter for Christmas and she loved it too. She is young and I think that as she gets older she will enjoy it even more. It will keep her memories of me fresh in her mind and allow her to recall times from her childhood that she would otherwise forget.

I'll be giving this journal to my mother as a "grandma-to-be" gift. Great as a present or a self-purchase, this journal allows grandparents to keep intimate, first-person accounts of memories and milestones they share with their grandchild, from notes to photos. An excellent keepsake, it will provide lasting joy for the grandparent and the grandchild, plus, the reasonable price makes it easy to purchase additional books for multiple grandchildren.

This book is very small and thin with a cheap hardback cover like you'd find on any child's book. Certainly not worth more than the $12.95 price that's printed on the barcode on the back of the book. Unfortunately, I paid $68.99 for the book and my kids gave it to my dad before I had time to pay close attention. I had expected a nice keepsake journal for the price...the actual product does not come anywhere close to my expectations.

I'm an Amazon prime member and love, love, love shopping on this website. However, I found it very disappointing that Amazon would have a seller with such exboritant markups on its site.

The title...The Grandparents' Treasure Chest: A Journal of Memories to Share with Your Grandchildren...is very deceiving. I sent this to my mother from my two children for Mother's day...thinking it was a book for more than one grandchild, as the title led me to believe. When she received the book, she said that all the questions are presented in such a way that it can only be for one grandchild. I purposely bought it because it was the only one I THOUGHT was for more than one grandchild.
