This headboard bed lamp light "fluctuated" when turned on
Kept burning out bulbs
I wouldn't recommended this lamp to anyone
When I contacted the Grandrich company the lamp
was "no longer available" How Convenient!!
Don't waste your money or time on this lamp

My lamps arrived very late. The paint on the metal shade was scratched as well as the control panel area. The lamps looked used! The lamps were adjustable, gravity adjusted the shade to point down every time I tried to point the lamp up or out. These are not even worth the cheap price. You have been warned!

This product is a little more diffucult to dirct light to for reading then a similar previous product. Also the outside housing gets much hotter then my last bed headboard lamp and I would not recommend it for young readers.

The lamp is attractive, but it's too top heavy and thus doesn't work on a horizontal headboard.

I purchased 2 of these headboard dimmer lights. I am using a 40 watt bulb in these because someone said they get hot. I really like these because I can read in bed and also dim the light when I am not reading.
I have not had any problems.

This is my 3rd lamp becuase I like the way you can dim the light above the bed. BUT EVERY LAMP DIMMER BURN OUT WITH IN A YEAR! It is way too hot touch, to adjust the lamp shade. Then you have to kept on tighten the bolts or the lamp keeps on dropping.
What I did when the dimmer broke, I purchase a dimmer, cord plug at Menards to make mine last. Kept it going for 4 years.
This time it took over 3 weeks to get it in the mail. It wasn't out of stock, just the slowest purchase ever. But the new one, this time they made the cord shorter. I compare it to my last one and it's at lease a foot shorter than what they say.
Next time I'll make mine own with a dimmer,plus cord with comtrol- purchase from Menards for under $10.00

This bed light is carefully designed: looks and feels nice, attaches easily, everything where you'd expect it, nothing extra. Clamp fits over 1-2" boards, but doesn't quite allow a 2 1/2" spread. Its looseness and "downward tilt" is easily corrected by adjusting the screw involved -- I needed two flathead screwdrivers: one one to hold the screw steady on one side, one to turn the other side. There are two such movable joints so this gem can tilt just about any way you'd like. With a 60-watt bulb it makes a nice bright light.

This is a wonderful lamp. Compared to other bed lamps I've purchased, I like this one best. It can be easily adjusted to fit my head board. I can also change the angle of the light and dim the light if necessary. This lamp reminds me of a lamp I had years ago. The newer model lamps I've purchased had clamp on clips that damaged my wooden headboard. I'm really happy about buying this one. Thanks, Amazon!

This lamp is just as described and works just great. Hook it over the top of the headboard and you can read in bed. Plenty of light and you can aim it directly at the book you are reading!

the light is not able to hold its head up against gravity. constantly swinging down to point at your hairline instead of the book while in bed. VERY annoying.
