wonderful songs, beautifully sung and (happy surprise) the words to all songs are included in case your French is a little rusty.

It's a double and I like disk 2 better than disk 1, but overall is a great CD. I like the sound of Michel Sardou, the way he sings his songs and I think the music is very melidious. I like his use of synthesizers. If you like French music, buy it !

I must say that I absolutely love the music of Michel Sardou. Not only does he have a great voice, but he also shares a wide blend of sounds, including a full orchestra. This CD is particularly recommended because of the song "Le Java de Broadway" and many other fun songs. Although I don't fully understand all that Michel has to say, I love the songs regardless. This is a must have!

If you used to listen to beautiful french songs from the late sixties, seventies and early eighties, then this CD will get you back to these wonderful times. Its a collection of virtually all of Sardou's best songs, especially from the seventies. This is the period I used to listen to these songs from Radio Monte Carlo on the AM band while studying in high school and then college. Sardou was and still a great singer with a voice of "France" and excellent songs. I highly recommend this double CD for all lovers of old french songs.
