There was a reason our grandparents always had a #2 washtub around because it comes in handy for soooo many tasks and needs. Washing out a mess of greens? No problem! Need a sitz bath? No problem! Handwashing fine lingerie? No problem! This is a home essential and I'm so glad we finally found it.

Headline: I have an induction cooktop and was looking for dishpans that would work with them. These do...
If you've been camping (not backpacking) and used these sorts of pans, you know the drill... One for washing, one for rinsing. When the rinse water has too much soap, it becomes the washing one and you cleanout the dirty dishwater and fill it with clean rinse water.
Having watched my parents do this even at home for years (to save water) I throught I'd try. But I recently got an induction cooktop which means your pots have to be magnetic. I searched quite a bit to see if these were magnetic, but could not find and answer. I finally went with my gut feeling and seemed to remember they were... When they got here, they indeed are!
I have one of each size and with an induction cooktop they work great! Very fast to heat water.

The product was marvelous. A little smaller than what I would have liked it to be. The side-handles make it a delight to move when full. I bought two, initially, and the uses are too many to list. My sister-in-law bought one after seeing me use mine. This pan is useful in unimaginable ways ... even as a large mixing bowl, and for collecting spill-over dishes when the dish washer is full.
